i have/had an amazing boyfriend. my parents are such irrational biased people though, that we arent even together anymore bc of them. i am 19, he just turned 20, we had plans to go bowling in his hometown tonight, that is max 30 mins away, bc all of his stuff is at his alley and bc he used to work there he can get everything for free. anyways i got home from work and ask my parents and they say no and chew my *** out for not respecting myself enough to realize that its "risking my life to chase some boy. " then they repeatedly called him names and told me im not allowed to see him anymore until he comes and talks to my dad, bc hes "risking my life by making me drive out to see him when hes just trying to save money.."..or thats what they think. i told him i dont know if he would want to be with me anymore and deal with this ****, and he asked me what i wanted and i told him to say **** my parents and be with you. hes the best guy ive ever met and doesnt deserve my psycho parents. HELP

i got married when i was 19 (only one month and a half before 20) and they all thought i was pregnant or something because i wanted to get married so young...

I WAS NOT preggo!

I AM NOT preggo at the moment.

we just loved each other and wanted to be with each other...
we both make great money...we have our own place...no one helps us financially...we get along great (well most of the time) and we love and respect each other!

we are a family of three...my son walks on all fours and barks (Petey, he's a yorkie)

we have been going strong and we have been married for a year on december 2nd!

my question is....why would people think i was pregnant? it hurt because i was a virgin until my wedding night....

Ok, Well my hubby have a child from a previous relationship, that child is 3 yo , we are in a 2 yr relationship with only 6 months of marriage and a 3 month old babyboy. When I 1st was meeting his son I was excited until I saw him, what let me down is that this child of his OBVIOUSLY DOESNT LOOK LIKE HIM what so ever. I never brought it to his attention because he acknowledges his son, well not until I was 8 months pregnant and realized that not only didnt the son look like him by just a glance but this little boy have features that neither the mother have nor my hubby have, such as his shape head, ears, and eyes but definitly has his mothers nose, mouth and smile. I understand that you can look like another relative but this child doesnt look related to either family on both sides of my husbands. Our son looks just like my hubby. My husband can make child that look like him and has stongs genes. Can his son just not look like him and ONLY like the mother? Is that geneticaly possible?

I've been chatting with a woman on the phone and by e-mail for a few weeks. We're meeting for the first time, and I've decided to take flowers as a gift/icebreaker. What kind of flowers, what size, etc, should I bring?

I have been married for 5 years with one child, our marriage has gone down hill and we have drifted and fight all the time, we basically live separate lives and have not had sex in 5 months. We still spend time with our child together as a family, because we don't want her to feel the tension etc. We have been to counselling and it helped for a while but things went back to the old ways. We can't talk without fighting and we don't know each other anymore. I can't see myself spending the next 40 or 50 years with him, but yet I am scared to say it is over, because of my child, I will turn her little world up side down and am I being totally selfish in wanting to be happy. I don't know how to approach this.
My husband is a good guy and a great father, I know we are better off as friends, but I know if we do break up that won't happen as he will have alot of anger. Also we are both from European families which makes it so hard, as they do not believe in divorce. Advice please!

I have been with my boyfriend for several years (before he had anything) and now he has asked me for a prenup. I am pretty well off myself, but I feel that a prenup is a sign of mistrust. I feel that marriage is a give and take (compromising) relationship. If you are going to say "I do for enternity" then you should have no problem putting it all on the line as I am willing to do. What do you think ?

Most of my life I have been with someone, or dating someone or flirting with someone. But now, I realize I have made some bad choices in relationships and I am taking a break from dating. So what may seem like a silly question, I ask sincerely, how does one be single and still find happiness? What do I need to do? How do I get an identity that is not wrapped up in a girlfriend?

Me and my bf are thinking about getting married but not soon. Just out of curiousity for now, what would be a good song for me and my bf (well bride and groom) to dance as our song. We like some songs but we really don't "have a song". This isn't a definate, but if anyone knows of any really good, deep love songs to dance, that would be nice. (Please, serious only)

Im 20 and divorced, wondering if anyone else feels the same. I rushed into my marriage and realized i didn't take it very seriously. Im not sure id ever want to get married again. I have no children but i deffinitly want a few in the future, but at this point i dont feel the need to marry the father of my future children. Id much rather have children before i get married again. Does anyone else feels this way or has someone gone through this?

So there is this boy and we are going out on a first date this weekend. He and I have been talking for about a month and we met at a friends party. Well tonight we are talking and he kept sending me smiley faces and I would send him some back and I told him "I think you win" and his reply was...

Ok...still luv ya

Now is there a difference between him saying love and luv? I bearly know him and he bearly knows me.

I am not in the L word with him...not yet at least.

After only 1 year, how do you bring yourself to get a divorce? I've only been married for less than 1 year. We've tried everything, and it just doesn't work. I've always been kind of against divorces, but there's no way around this. I made a mistake, and that's it. How can I bring myself to cope with this? My husband REFUSES to work any job, no matter what the pay is, and he's bipolar and an alcoholic. Any suggestions?

I noticed that our son was very wet after he had been holding him a while so I said that he made me sick because he's to lazy to change him. Then he said that to me. He has no respect for me. I don't know what to do anymore.

We have been married for a little over three years. I am so concerned about myself because my mind is rarely on having sex and mainly on other things such as bills, work and starting up my home-based business. I have always been a night owl and I usually stay up until after midnight, sometimes as late as 2 a.m. For whatever reason, I seem to be more productive late at night when things are quiet and I have had a chance to wind down. My husband has to be at work by 5 a.m. so he goes to bed fairly early. Usually by 10 p.m. I have to be at work by 7 a.m. He sometimes will make a sarcastic comment about how late I stay up.

I have tried to be honest with myself in hopes of finding the problem. My husband isn't ugly or fat so I am physically attracted to him. I am satisfied with him sexually. I think the biggest turn-off for me is that he "expects" sex to happen and if it doesn't he gets up. I don't like the fact that he becomes angry behind sex.

My husband closed on refinancing his house today. He filled me in on bits and pieces of what he was doing but never really explained his decision to me. We have only been married for 3 months and I gave up a free home, a corporate job and my extended family in another state to move here. I learned about the closing yesterday, confronted him about it, he felt obligated to invite me this evening to it. I have been struggling to find the right job here and when I first moved he made me feel as if he would help me out much more than he has...his life has continued while I am worried about my future. I felt I made the right decision, not for money or my own materialistic gain. I doubt my decision now. He refinanced to pay off all of his bills and rebuild his credit, not discussing it with me. I said I was worried about my future he said he would try and help me rebuild and "see" if he could put me on his life ins. policy. He is leaving it to his 28 yo hx of drug use son. Help pleas

Ok well I have had this diary for 3 years now. I haven't written in it much and there is only one thing I regret ever righting in there. Well two years ago my mom died in a car crash. I was angry, confused, hurt, and stupid so I wrote this: "Ug I hate Derek (my brother)! HE IS THE WHOLE REASON WHY MOM DIED! If only he didn't need to be picked up from his stupid running class mom would still be alive! I HATE HIM!! I will never forgive him!" He unfortunately read that. We have been best friends since a month after my mom died because we moved from place to place, country to country, always having problems with paying for things, so we relied on each other being the older siblings (I am now 16 he is now 18). Now he is locked in his room, and won't talk to me. I don't care that he read my diary so much it is just I feel so stupid! How could I do that! He won't open his door? How can I talk to him. I can't get my Dad he is at church with my other 2 sisters. What should I do??

My mother and I enjoy a close relationship and I respect her opinions immensely. I am her only daughter and I am about to become a mother myself. She plans on spending a lot of time with me after I give birth next week. I am worried that she will "take over" and if I disagree with her over something, she will get confrontational. And for all of her wisdom in the world, I feel like I need her to listen to my opinions because I may want to do things differently. I am nervous about this, and I do need her help.... I don't know what to do about it.

I'm in love with my boyfriend. We have been dating for almost a year. Well, in three weeks, it will be one year. Sometimes we talk about it or say things like, "When we live together.." Not that we are planning on moving in with each other anytime soon. We are both in our first semester of our freshman year at CSU.
I believe that he is in love with me, but sometimes I just have weird thoughts in my mind because I have been hurt before and lied to. Once we were watching some show and they were having a wedding. He thought something about the wedding was funny and made the comment, "I'm going to do that in our wedding.."
He also bought be a white gold necklace with a pendant that has little diamonds in it. It's kind of spiraled. He bought it for my birthday. We had only been dating for five months. It's really beautiful and I wear it everyday. He was playing around, but he said he didn't want me to take it off for more than 45 minutes at a time, unless I'm swimming. :]
