My boyfriend of a few months is planning on visiting a friend (girl) who lives in another country. He tells me she is only a friend but I'm really worried as I don't know her and wonder why he has to do this. He met her when studying overseas a year ago and they've been in contact as friends. She visited him once (before we got together) and they've kept up the contact by chatting. Am I paranoid? I can't help feeling that if a man needs to visit a woman, he must have feelings for her. Any words of wisdom would help me.

She comes from a christian family. We are 25 been dating almost a year and agreed to wait a year to get married. We are also saving sex with each other until married.

Thing is even though her parents like me they do know about some of the problems in our relationship and I am a little uncomfortable with the idea of asking them for her hand in marriage. Not so much that they would say no, but that they would grill me about our issues we've been having lately.

Can't I just forgo this? It is after all her decision. Her sister married a guy her parents knew was bad and would end in divorce and they still let them get married. I just feel stupid about asking for permission...

I have always had strong views toward marriage, and I have recently decided that I don't ever want to get married. I have seen how it ruins relationships. I honestly can not name a single married couple I know who is not miserable! I think there is some psychological trigger when two people sign those papers. I know this may sound wrong, but I have seen that is usually the womens fault. In many of the cases I have seen, the woman has changed drastically after marriage. Women are very controlling, especially with money. I am in college and I will be going to law school. I love living life to the fullest and I love expensive toys. I know that when I am able to afford it, I will have lots of nice cars, houses, boats, etc. I feel like if I ever get married I will never be able to have these things. I have seen a few cases where two people are not married and are very happy. I'm not saying that I don't want a lifelong companion/girlfriend, but I just don't want to say "I do".

im in a bit of a dilemma. i love my girlfriend but i am no longer turned on by her any more, in fact i basically dont want sex with her at all. I find her very attractive and we are kind of soul mates but im not sure what to do..i masturbate every day and would be happy to have sex with other girls, as they turn me on more...so what should i do? we have been together over 5 years, is it normal to find your partner boring after that amount of time?? pls help, should i stay with her and just not have sex at all???
in the past i cheated on her many times, could that be a reason why i feel i cant be with her anymore due to my subconscious guilty feelings?

Please, I need help on this I hope u ll have pantience to reed and help me... :(
There is this guy from who was in love with me when I was in depression, he was always there to help me but I turned him down (his help), kindly ofcourse. I really liked him, but like I sad, I had some problems...
Then he found a girl, (ppl say she is a less hot version of me, but she looks a bit like me, even to me!)
He was with her for about 7 months, and they broke up.
He seemd to hit on me again, but I messed up again- first I had some guy, then I told him I like some other guy... He lost all hope and returned to his girl, now they are together again... He never told me that strikley, but he allways told everyone he likes me... He is usually a type who hits on feemales, but he thinks I am special.
What do I need to do now? I love him, and I think he loves me but he can't leave his girl. I even told my friedns I m sure he doesnt love her. Shoud I tell him that I love him...?

Hey, girls! Do you think you can sit on thighs of a male friend without any feelings for him? Actually a female friend of mine sat on my thighs in a dance club in front of her friends (females). Does it mean anything?

OK the relationship is not really that old, about a year, six in dog years;)

We have done paintballing, ocean, beach, go karts, put put golf, shooting range, movie, pet store, window shopping, feeding birds, art show (she's an artist), etc.

Most the fun stuff has been done and I try not to repeat things at least not too close together. Any new ideas? Something fun active and adventurous that is not typical?

It seems that that more I try to be quiet in the morning, the more noise I make. I'm up very early and cannot stay in bed. If I come downstairs say to make coffee, the water goes on, if I go to cook something, pots and pans make noise. I'll go on the computer and the sound level is up etc... any suggestions on how to be quieter so that I don't have to hear, "you make so much noise in the morning."

I been single for almost 4 years, I have dated during that time, but for some reason I can not trust these women or open to them because it never feels right. Some friends say its because I still am pissed at my ex fiance from 4 yrs ago and I will never trust or get close until I forgive her. I know that it is perfectly normal to hate and not forgive her and it has no bearing on other women because they are different people. Can someone please tell me what the real issue is?

I've been blabbering all over the place with my previous Yahoo questions about my long-lost best friend who I've just been reunited with a few weeks ago. We've been going through several fights now, and today I've learned that she's marrying her boyfriend of only 1 month. I know I should be happy, but she's only 18. She can't throw her life away so early. It's not even a marriage forced from pregnancy.

I've never even met her boyfriend, but ever since I've learned about him my best friend's been so cold and hurtful. Sometimes when I meet with her it looks like she's been beaten up, with bruises all over, and she looks like she's been crying, and there's only one person I can suspect. Whenever I ask her if she needs help she just turns it away.

Our relationship is at its lowest point but I can't let someone I love so much throw her life away when she seems so depressed. Please, help me care for her.

I met this girl in my English class, whom I have a crush on. I saw her twice walking to class and the first time, she waved and said hi towards my direction, but I thought she was saying hi to somebody behind me, and I didn't want to seem stupid saying hi back when she might be actually saying hi to somebody else. Well the second time I saw her walking to class and she again said hi and waved, but again I thought she was saying hi to somebody behind me and just walked off with a smile. Well after I passed by her, I looked back and there was nobody there!!! Now I just feel really akward but I want to start a conversation. It's pretty pathetic but I'am actually 22 and I'm not usually a shy person except in front of somebody I like. any suggestions???

1. Do you poke fun with them, act sarcastic and funny and crack jokes?

2. Do you blush and act all awkward, uncomfortable shy and quiet?

A man escapes from prison where he has been for 15 years. He breaks into a house to look for money and guns and finds a young couple in bed.

He orders the guy out of bed and ties him to a chair, while tying the girl to the bed he gets on top of her, kisses her neck, then gets up and goes into the bathroom. While he's in there, the husband tells his wife:

"Listen, this guy's an escaped convict, look at his clothes! He probably spent lots of time in jail and hasn't seen a woman in years. I saw how he kissed your neck." If he wants sex, don't resist, don't complain, do whatever he tells you. Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseates you. This guy is probably very dangerous. If he gets angry, he'll kill us. Be strong, honey. I love you."

To which his wife responds: "He wasn't kissing my neck. He wwas whispering in my ear. He told me he was gay, thought you were cute, and asked me if we had any vaseline. I told him it was in the bathroom. Be strong honey. I love you too!!"

My girlfriend manages to keep track on me because she knows my screen name on YA. So I cant pretend I am doing something else etc as she sees what time I ask questions or answers.

Should I change my screen name and block from other sers so she cannot spot when I'm on here ?

Simple question, the guy is one you spend time with as a friend and he hasn't owned up. Can you tell he fancies you rotten? (especially aimed at worldy wise women of 25 and over).

There's this a girl in one of my classes that's cute, but she hasn't added me as a friend on facebook yet.

I see that she's friends with some of the other guys in my class, but not me.

We haven't really talked all that much. I just joined the class about 2 weeks ago, but I see her around campus at least 2-3 times a week. I think she knows my name. I had to introduce myself to the class, and she remarked that she had relatives in my home-state.

Why hasn't she added me as a friend?

Recently, researchers at the University of Texas did a study asking people why they had sex. After asking over 2000 people, they were able to catogize a list of 237 common reasons. Some stand-outs:
- I had a headache, thought it would make it go away (you know, I have a headache right now....any takers?)
- Someone dared me (c'mon...someone dare me...I DARE you to!)
- I wanted to cahnge the subject (what subject is so boring that this is the only logical exit?)
- I was attraced to the person (duh!)
- The opportunity presented itself (more common answer for men...anyone surprised?)
- I was afraid my parter would have an affair if I didn't (How many people out there had an affair because their husband/wife didn't?)

So now I throw this out to the wonderful people of POF. Let's see what kind of reasons we've had for having sex (this should be good!)
