my dad canceled my birthday party after I invited like 20 people and I want him to chang his mind so I can have I just dont know what to say please help me I might not have my birthday party!!!!!! :(

I found out from a friend that he volunteered for a deployment beginning in the Spring. I asked him if we could go on a vacation this summer, hoping he would tell me something. He said "I don't see why not".

Now I found out that he is supposed to go to a school for his deployment in November and he hasn't mentioned this. Why hasn't he said anything to me?

I was separated several months ago. During that time I ran into a old friend of mind whom I'd never spoken to for 6 yrs. The only thing I could remember was at the time he asked me to married, but I turned him down for I was too young and wasn't quite ready for any serious relation. I was 19, he was 25. He got married to an older woman he was kinda dating at the time. They got married several months after I said no then moved to JP. Two months ago we met and talked about old time and new. I told him I'm married and asked what happened to his. He said it didn't work out because he married for a wrong reason; he did not love her. They married to continue dating because he was transferring to JP for 4yrs, didn't want to do the long distance relationship. I told him I got married and it has been 5 now. So, I'm 25; he is 31. While talking, he revealed his feelings that I was the one he fall in love with and still was but the feelings was so strong that he had to run away from it.

hey guys!

im holding a dinner with my friends (dressy casual) except my dining table only holds 6 people.. maximum 10 people if i make room in the corners but im inviting 16 + people... what can i do??

its a SORT of formal party where we get dressed up and eat gourmet food and stuff... just a bunch of close friends...

any suggestions please?THNKS!

What did you guys think about that episode. I am in shock that the first family shown would allow such spending for their kids and yet they barely have clothes for their children. Then the dad signed one of those adustable rate mortagages and he is going to get screwed even more.

Then the second family who took out 200,000 in student loans. Jesus. Does school cost that much these days? I have never.
Anybody out there going through a similar situation?

I don't smell or have snakes in my hair, but a lot of people just do not like me from the moment they meet me. Men and women. I will hear how wonderful someone is and when I am finally introduced and I am so kind and nice and try to have conversation they will not really speak to me. The men completely ignore me and will not even look at me and the women just seem to stare at me and give me dirty looks and say bad things about me to my other friends. This seems like it is always happening and it is starting to make me feel horrible. No one seems to want to get to know me or give me a chance. Maybe I am over thinking things. I met my friends new potential boyfriend last night and he said hi and shook my hand and said NOTHING to me for the rest of the night and talked w/ everyone else. He wouldnt even look me in the eye. Plus girls I meet ALWAYS give me nasty looks & dont want to even try to get to know me. Any suggestions? Do people do this to you? Im really feeling bad.

My gf tells me about other guys that try to approach her, invite her out, etc. Then it made me a little jealous and I said not to mention one of them, an exfriend. She said that she tried to tell me about her life. Somehow is good that she tells me and I know all. Or all women experience constant approaching from men and I am paranoid? Anyhow I don't like hearing much about other guys.

We are getting divorce. We don’t have any kids and have agreed on house and other stuff. My wife has an attorney to make sure divorce will be done correctly. This attorney will also do my paper work.
My wife say an attorney can not represent two people at the same time (conflict of interest). I don’t see any reason to get my own attorney, since we have agreed on every thing and it’s supposed to be a peaceful divorce.
Do I still need to get my own attorney? Please help. I’ll pick the best answer later.

im 20 and i dont have a boyfriend. is that normal?is that ok to not have a boyfriend at this age. i'm a bit plump. and i dont have a girly personalities and i'm not matured enough compare to other girls at my age. in other words im a bit childish and bubbly, goofy and all that . is guy really like slimmer girls and those who mature enough? sometimes i do worry that i dont have a boyfriend. do i have to find a boyfriend or just wait for the time?

this guy i have a crush on keeps looking at me in the hall ways, when im cheering at his football games, & when we once had a combined class. but he never tries to talk to me. i talked to him exactly twice because i had a question to ask him about his up coming football games. His 4th block class is right down the hall from mine and his teacher happens to be my cheer coach so i usually go in there to talk to her and to see him. lol yesterday he and i came out of our class room at the same time and he happens to see me coming down the hall way so he was talking to his friends then went in the class room and i saw him talking to my coach... then after that when i passed the classroom and was going towards the stairs.. he came out and i saw him speed walking. then he walked right next to me all the way down the stairs.. he doesnt really speed walk. EVER. & when he got out of his practice early... he came to mine and watched for a bit. please help meee!! is this a sign of interest?

First off i liked him. He is always nice and can sometimes be a bit flirty. so i liked him for ages and then he found someone else so i turned my attention to someone else and when he broke up with her all of a sudden he wanted to know who i liked. and was paying more attention to me. now i think there could be someone else for him and he always finds a way to tell me. I met this black man who was married to an Japanese woman he met overseas while in the military. Long story short, they had a kid and stayed together for about 10 years. He recently divorced her this year and as a black woman when i look at his kid, i just cant seem to get over how asian looks. It is a constant reminder of where he was and with who. I am not racist but sometimes i belive that he tries to compare, he even said i looked like an asian woman once, and i know damn well that i dont. I am over 150 lbs and bronze colored with short hair. This asian woman he used to be married to was short and looked like your typical small stature woman. I even asked him if he was comfortable coming back home to a fullfigured black woman after being with a woman of this type for so many years. It has been difficult, i would say, for the both of us. I have this friend (girl) I made in school and we've kept in touch for over a year even though we've moved to different states. I went to see her once recently and it went fine..we moved over the friendship line a bit (kissed but not sex) but have just been friendly since that on our chatting. I invited her to visit me and she said 'i will, but its not easy to find you there (true as i travel a lot)' then i asked her again and she said she'd love to as soon as she gets some free time...she's got a heavy school workload (and I know that's true). Do you think I have any chance with her? I really like her.
