I'm 19 yrs old and i live at home with my parents. I really feel like it is time for me to get out of there. I just feel like i've outgrown it and want to be more independent. I go to school and have a part-time job. I would be able to afford an apartment with my boyfriend and a friend. Do you think i'm still too young?

Do you feel it is fair to make a non-custodial parent not be able to afford to live? The custodial parent makes more money than the non-custodial parent. The custodial parent will now have 4000 to live on and the non-custodial parent will now have 1000 to live on, whereas the non-custodial parent had 2000 to live on before. $1000 includes childcare. The non custodial parents income is so low now that they now are qualified for food stamps and free medical which means us the taxpayers are now paying for the child support decision. What do you think?

i was good friends with this girl i lived in the same town n then i moved away n 4 some reason things changed- i moved to oxford whilst she stayed at 25 still living with her mum and dad in a small town called carterton.

She recently got back with her boyfiend and then one night went out to oxford n she decided to go off with another guy instead of going back to her boyfriends...i came home on my own after she n these guys left me in the club...the next morning i awoke to a loud banging on the door it was her boyfriend he walked in towered over me and started swearing at me yelling where the **** is she slag! I have only met him once before briefly n luckily another girl i live with came running down the stairs thankgod becasue i think he was going to hit me!!! I have called the police over this i was in absolute tears really terrified...the girl is still seeing him and she never apologies neither has her boyfirend who has been arrested for harrassment..i have cut them both off

I went out with a girl for 3 years, ups and down but it was nothing but amazing!! true love it felt most of the time, and she did alot for me. but when she told her parents about me, they said no and her mum even slapped her, because she kept saying she wants 2 marry me, they didnt agree because i was much younger than her and i didnt have a real job. anyways she told me it wont happen, and cried and cried, and i cud tell she truly was hurt. anyways she stopped contacting me for months, i got nothing!! not even a miss call from her.....anways 1 day i asked her lets meet and go cinema for the last time, we went and even kissed!!!!!!!!
going home i cried in her arms saying i will miss u,she cried aswel, but after that day i didnt hear from her! its beens 2 months now but still nothing, whats going on???????
we went out for years, and i knew she cared alot,she cried alot if anything happened to me, what happened? it dont make sense to me

Need some advice my 3 year old daughter father is basically a deadbeat he sems to find it so easy to go for months without calling or interacting with her. He also works and does not help me finacially. I dont call him or ask for anything. I just sit back and see the ******* he is. He basically puts everybody and everything before his own child. He now uses me as an excuse because he does not like me and we have argued. Im trying to put aside my OWN dislike for him for the sake of my daughter. I gave him chances even after he messed up now she knows who he is and asks about him all the time. Each day goes by he still doesnt contact her. If I take him for child support I bet he will want to see her THEN just because he has to pay money! I wonder if its even worth it just to get a few dollars a month he doesnt love her the way a father should I admit it hurts,even stresses me out. He is basically using me as the excuse of why he cant deal with his daughter. What more can i possibly do?

Okay women tell me this. I have a husband who is a hunter and has been on a hunting trip since 10-16. I call him this morning. Happy thinking he is coming home. Nope. He is staying another night. I just find it weird. Why stay when your not seeing any deer. What is so enticing? I just don't get it.

Do you believe that one of your parents doesn't love you because:
I didn't get the stuff I wanted?
They don't see me so they don't care?
It's their fault for a divorce?
What would be most of the problem if a parent still loved you but still stayed away. Are you impartial?

Shouldn't family court judges be held accountable and shouldn't there be an appeal process to the decissions they make? I was told there was no appeal process to family court rulings by the state of Delaware. Some decissions put non-custodial parents in a position where they can't even take care of themselves let alone their children. Shouldn't there be some "just" form of checks and balances?

Ok ive noticed that i like really hot girls right. But usually the really hot girls are the ones who are hard to handle and just so difficult to deal with. I've been friends with this girl for about 6 months now and we're really close but recently she's been getting on my nerves! We don't hang out everyday but when we do she can't help but to say things about herself...she also changes the subject sometimes and turns it around into something about her. Her MySpace page is cluttered with pictures of herself and so is her background picture on her cell phone. It's just kind of weird, in my opinion, and really gets under my skin when it happens on more than one occasion. I recently introduced her to a friend of mine and now she's always rubbing in my face, "Oh me and so and so are going out tonight!". What does it mean when my ex girlfriend asks my friend for my phone number?...We talked and everything was cool. We talked like nothing even happened, it felt natural. She says she wants to hang out..blah blah blah. hasnt seen me in a long time. its nice to here from me...yada yada. She tells me to call her before I come up. I get a phone call from her a week and half later. I tell her that im coming up next weekend. She tells me that she gave our cat to someone. She goes into details about a dude she has been seeing at work and says she wont be around this weekend becasuse she is going camping with her boyfriend.

Why do I need to know that??? lol. Why would u tell me that?? Is she nuts? i didnt contact her, i text her 2 weeks later and said "whats up?" she responded..."do you need something?"

I believe that there are major discrepensies in the family courts and very illegal activities to include abuse of non-custodial parents, one sided representation and hearings,dragging out legal procedings to unfairly disadvantage the non-custodial parents by court costs while the custodial parent gets free legal services from the state.

4 years ago, my cousin dated and got very involved with a very good friend of the family. My brothers best friend. The two of them are very adventurous and risk taking people. Over time, they got involved with heroin and lost touch with family/friends. After 2 years of substance abuse, she got pregnant, and he got caught and went to prison for a year and a half. When he got out, their child was 6 months old. Now they have an apartment (I helped her with $400.00 to get in/ she would have been on the streets). Well now he has been out for about 8 months. I went to visit them and at that time 3 dif. people came for WEED. They have too much traffic in/out plus she thinks he is using again. How can I tell her that he needs to get a real job & even though he is on parole it is still possible for him. SellingWEED will not help get them ahead. She will not leave him. My hubby has been out of town for the last 12 days on business. I went and visited him last weekend but I am going to stay at home this weekend by myself. I'm trying to get a ballpark figure of how much child support I would have to pay if I made 40,000 and my ex made 32,000 a year with 50 percent shared custody of our child. We are doing the invitations ourselves and after printing about 50 of them, we found out that the minister had something come up and was not going to be available on the original date. The date has been changed to a week later and I really don't want to re-print these invitations if there is a simple but acceptable fix.

The state makes new rules to make child support fairer to the parties but are they monitoring the fairness of treatment by judges and childs support agencies. I know they don't. The law and the courts are two separate entities and the courts and child support officers abuse the system rules to often to replace state welfare payments. Isn't the reason for most divorce one of lack of money or income?
