Everybody says that he will find me, but I dont seem to attract the best type of boys, (bad, nasty, etc.) The only good relationship I was in was cut off because of my mom. What should I do?

Give yourself time my dear, I had the same problem with my mother and boyfriends and once I had moved out of her house things got SO much better! I found the man of my dreams and we're now married with twins on the way due in 5 weeks....I think that you might just have to wait until you hit college because then she can't do anything about it....or until you move out of her house....best of luck to you!!....

Look in different areas. If your attracting the wrong kind of guy, change up your habits a bit. You pick up a guy at the beach or a mall or something and they only have a few things on their mind. You pick up a guy in a park, or a book store, doesn't mean they are geeks, it's just a different kind of guy. You might also want to take a look at yourself too, what kind of image are you projecting to the guys that your are interested in?

maybe your not looking in the best of places.
If you are in school or college, going to work, going to church.
You should be able to find someone thats a good nice fit for you.
And if your over the age of 18 it shouldnt matter what anyone else thinks including the parentals, if you like him and he likes you and your both happy in a loving relashionship then thats all that matters hunny.

Look for a boyfriend in places that cater to your interests.

Also.. make a list qualitities you don't like in a guy... and don't go out with guys like that
once you have the list, it will be easier to remember, when your head's being turned....

It sounds like you might be too young to be seriously be looking for a deeply committed relationship. But maybe you should look for men in better places - school, church, volunteer organizations, etc. You could also try agencies like e-Harmony.

Just an idea - try to read Louise Hay's book - "You can heal your life".And stop using words like 'bad', 'nasty'...just enjoy the beautiful days...I wish you luck!

do not inform your mom on relationships, then she cannot cut them off. just keep at it. you'll find one.
