I would like to remain single forever to benefit my career as an author. I also feel uncomfortable with relationships. What are some good pieces of advice to accomplish this?

You WANT to be single forever? Then I'd say not to get into any relationship or feel like you need to be in the company of any women. Needs can sometimes drive you to do something you dont' want to do. Just have lots of friends! Good luck! Hope you can accomplish this for your writing career.

.it's not wise to commit on such thing. Live life to the fullest and you'll never know what will be going on next. When you reach at the peak on your career you'll find you deserve something else, and it could be marriage

don't get involved in a relationship. If you don't desire a relationship why would you ask how to stay single?

Its easy to avoid relationships "dont wash,dont clean your teeth and swear alot"

get a dog /cat
you can still date other woman- but just let them know that your not looking for anything serious-- you just want to date around

It's not like someone can force you into a realtionship. Just don't date anyone, that's all.
