In today's world...I would have to say false, because so many people are so self centered, that they don't know what the true meaning of love is. Unfortunately, they only know self love, which is actually self indulgence. I see so many couples fighting over the stupidest things, and calling each other horrible names, and deliberately hurting the others feelings. That is not true love, but they will swear that they are deeply in love. The only way to get past these kinds of battles, is to say you are sorry. Usually both parties have to admit they didn't really mean to call each other names, it just "came out" in the heat of the moment. Bull puckey!

True love would need few apologies, because each would be sensitive to the others needs, and would not deliberately try to berate, or hurt each other in the so called "heat of the moment" . People in true love would have enough respect for each other, to understand that compromise is the only way, and fighting over stupid things gets you no where. I still think that there are occasions in every relationship, where one has to apologize to the other out of respect for the other person, most likely over a simple mis-understanding.

True love also means you trust the other unconditionaly. You each trust in the love that you have, and that there is no desire to look elsewhere, because you already have what you need within your relationship.

In a perfect world it would be true because if you love the person you would not do anything to be sorry for but none of us are perfect and we may mess up every now and then so have to say sorry and truly mean it.

Dear young lady..In love you surrender yourself to your other half the statement of your question has to be 'True' hundred percent...Every nation has prospered and brought the best citizens of their respective countries by tollerating, loving, understanding their lovers in the form of wives, girl friends and live ins. Ups and downs are common in lovers..obstacles are the learning blocks for both but one may learn it quickly and the other takes time..This is the time Anger,Ego,depressions, emotional clashes takes place. Just be True to yourself and amaze the wonderful life with your lover.

At one point I say it's true and the other is false. First off is for false. False because saying sorry is one way of knowing whether a person is sincere or not. True because you need not to say sorry, if you really are "sorry" then actions speaks louder than voice as they say.. It depends on the scenario.

FALSE! In a perfect world and a perfect relationship,we never would do anything to have to say we are sorry for would we? BUT-it is not a perfect world, there is no perfect relationships and we are all people who make mistakes, have feelings that get hurt and we all tend to hurt those we love and that are closest to us the most. Love is recognizing that you have hurt the other persons feelings and meaning it when you do say you are sorry.

false , everyone makes mistakes admitting you are wrong is the right thing to do and always blaming someone else is immature. Saying sorry shows you respect the other persons feelings.
