hi....i was in a relationship where i abused my boyfriend many times, and I don't like to admit it but i need answers. Anway I use to hit him very hard and sumtimes keep hitting him over and over again very hard, i knew it hurt becaus I left marks many times and he wud just take it.and not do anything, but on 3 different occasions in the span of like 5 months he defended himself and wud push me off and he hit me once each time and stopped quickly and wouldn't hit me no more. He this is the only time he did anything abuse to me and he went through alot of abuse he snapped like 3 times out of 20. Now he is telling me that he knows he was wrong n for hittin me but he only did it in self defense n wudn't hurt me nemore, what should I do, is he really abusive or is it my fault? like I said he only hit me three times n never so much as slapped me ne other times and it was all wen i was abusing him. Help.

and he says he'll call you right back....but doesn't for an hour or two...so you text him...and he never texts back...can you pretty much assume he's a jerk? Do I have the right to get mad or am i overreacting? He'll probably say, "Sorry, I was really busy." What will I say back?

know that he is a good man, but he has made bad choices in the past as far as women are concerned, I will be wife # 2..But he has had a few engagements between the ex-wife and me..Which makes me wonder now, if its HIM or that he really has poor judgment..Also which makes this worse, is that his 8 year old son, is partial to my son, they have bonded, as have we..I love the kid like he was my own flesh and blood, so I am confused on what to do? Do I marry him with these doubts, or end the relationship, which will hurt everyone, including the kids, and I don't want that...but I dont want to be exwife #2....I do love him, but is that enough ?

Could I just be having "cold feet"?

I posted a question earlier and someone hit the nail on the head. I am turned off by some of my husband's personality traits. I feel so bad in saying that but it's true. We are like night and day in the personality department. Where do I start?

He is very non-chalant and care-free. If it doesn't affect him directly he doesn't care, but it usually affects me. For example, we may have a bill that's due and limited funds left. He'll throw a fit because we have to pay bills and there's not enough money to eat out with or mess off. I have to come up with creative ways to get around that to make him happy, therefore I do all the worrying.

He is a mama's boy to the heart. His parents live an hour away and he has to see them regularly or he gets cranky. We go there all the time and one day he asked if I wanted to go. I agreed but wanted to know if it would turn into an overnight trip (as usual) or if we'd be coming back. That's all I asked. He then told me I didn't have to go.

She (lets call her foolish) wants her little girl to come and visit her. Foolish goes to her parents, who are living in a pay weekly hotel. However, her dad is a registered sex ofender. My son, refuses to let her have their 2 year old daughter over there. Which I agree with. So now foolish is 'claiming' that she has already talked to the cops, and they say she can have their daughter stay there for every other week. Well, according to the national sex ofender registry, her dad is not to be near ANY minor child. Also, before staying where foolish's parents are, foolish has stayed with 3 different men. To top that off, foolish got kicked out of each place. Foolish only got to stay maybe 2 or 3 weeks at each. Foolish has no job. Foolish has no common sense when it comes to shuffling thier daughter from one guys place to another. She really thinks she can trust each guy she stays with. Any suggestions about what my son can do to protect his daughter from Foolish's Stupidity?

My Wedding is in 10 months. I have 4 bridesmaids in my wedding. and My Fiance has only 1 guy standing in the wedding. My Fiance best friend said he couldn't stand in the wedding because his wife thinks there would be hot women in the wedding party.(which my bridesmaids happen to be married with kids anyway) I can't uninvite my bridesmaids and My Fiance family is from Russia and 99% of the family still lives there. He is also an only child. What can I do. I am really desperate for answers. My Fiance is very shy so his friends are far and few between. HELP!

I am 30 and my father has been on drugs since I can remember. Me, my mother and brother moved out of state when I was 11, and I recently moved back 4 years ago. My father is abusive to his girlfriend and was very abusive to my mother. I mean he has done some terrible things. He lives with his girlfriend part of the time and part of the time he lives on the streets like a bum.

I was downtown with my cousin one weekend and saw him walking. He was dirty and ungroomed and I just broke down and cried. The thing is he chooses to live that way. He likes to make people feel sorry for him. It's always all about him and what he's going through. Poor dad this and poor dad that. He calls me to say he's homeless and hungry and he expects me to do something about it.

i met this married guy three months ago, he invited me to go out & have dinner since Ive helped him in a certain business project. We had fun together although we both knew that were comitted. Still, we continue to hang out. One time, we were both drunk and something happened to us. I try to end it since weve gone through very quick. But he keeps on saying he loves me so much & vice versa. Now, i felt guilty & trying to get him out of my life, but he keeps on calling & texting me.... I really feel sorry for my husband, most of all, i felt guilty. How can i end it up to him? I'm coming out of a 16 year marriage and quite frankly, I'm just not into getting remarried. I dislike lying to anyone, but I feel terrible inside when I KNOW all I want is sex and friendship. I want there to be a connection, but I just don't want the responsibility of having to report to someone. I do not want to use or abuse a WOMAN's feelings/emotions, and I do want to care about her, but really, I just want someone to have sex with. SOMEONE means a WOMAN.

Quite frankly, I do not know how to respect a woman who is just in a relationship for sex. I feel like I'm sliding on a double edged sword.

I broke with hubby and now my lover is seeing someone else because he never got a commitment from me. I feel vindictive and I want him to see how hurt how I am, even though he is still nice to me. Im in a divorce/custody dispute, and have court tomorrow.. im the mom and got my rights taken away temporarily
because @ my court date their father said i was an addict, which ive in the mean time gone to psychologists, and counselors to determine that i am not an addict, i have been injured in 2 car accidents and have a physical dependancy to 2 certain mind altering prescriptions that im in the process of weening off of to my own free will. The judge never "ORDERED" me to under go counseling, or random drug tests, but i have agian on my own will.... I have had 2 tests since my last court date, the first one i asked the judge to send me that day, that one came out good. Still traces , but at lower levels than the previous. Then i JUST NOW " TODAY" got the results of my second one.... AND i know alot of you like to judge , BUT I HAVE NOT TOUCHED A SINGLE DRUG , EXEPT FOR MY PRESCRIPTIONS, since prior to my last screening, So ive been clean now for about 7-8 weeeks. My kids are too impo

My friend and i like the same girl (we'll call her sarah). we're both in high school and neither of us have ever had a gf. he said that he liked her when i was going after another girl. the other girl turned me down and when i got back to school sarah was in my class. i've been trying not to fall for her but i can't help it. she's pretty, smart, and mature which is a rarity for high school girls. i've been helping my friend ask her out but i just realized that i can't keep myself from liking her. i'm in a much better position than my friend to ask her out. i talk to her everyday and have her # while he only sees her once a week. my friend and i have been friends w/ her for a year.

The thing is that he will b pissed if i ask her out. i've known my friend for a LONG time and i don't want to lose friends but at the same time i want to date the girl that i like. i don't want to get into a situation where i have to choose between them. what should i do?
