First off- how old r u? R u male or female? It all depends on many factors that go w/ many different situations. If ur a good "kid" & obey ur parents, do good in school, have sound solid judgement(s), u know- all that fun neat stuff that goes along w/ bing an adolescence- mayb sit down w/ ur parents & talk 2 them about ur feelings, what ur thinking & what u can do to b able 2 do more than u think they may b allowing u 2 do. ur parents r there 2 help & protect u, 2 guide u, & help u make the right choices in life. They love u & want the best 4 u- go give it a try- b patient & b willing 2 listen 2 them 2, it's a working effort w/ all of u- if u want them 2 listen and hear u, u have 2 do the same.

Not knowing how old you are, but I am a parent of an 18 year old who lives at home, and also a 13 year old.

FREEDOM comes with the showmanship of RESPONSIBILITIES, COURTESY and the fact of you earn their trust to let you have the freedom's you want.

I am learning alot right now, as a parent to a "legal adult" and the letting go parts, make good choices now, then you'll not have problems of them letting you have your freedom.

In other words, show them you are capable of making good friends, stay away from drugs, call them when you get to where you say you're going, call them when you're on your way home, help them with things around the house that you know needs to be done, but they may not have time to do, and listen to what their EXACT directions may be, if they say be home @ 9pm, be home by 830-845pm, so they trust you and know you're listening. good luck

Parents usually are being strict in regards
with our freedom because they're just making
sure we are OK. They are just worried. They
don't want to lose us because they love us.

I advise you:

- Let them know where will u go
and what time you'll be home.
- Go home early.
- If you'll be late, call them to prevent being scolded.
- Be open, it's not bad. Treat them as your
best friends, but be sure with respect.
- Be responsible in taking care of yourself.
- Be trustworthy.
- Don't lie. Parents deserve the truth.

I hope this things can help!

Take care and good luck! :)
