She (lets call her foolish) wants her little girl to come and visit her. Foolish goes to her parents, who are living in a pay weekly hotel. However, her dad is a registered sex ofender. My son, refuses to let her have their 2 year old daughter over there. Which I agree with. So now foolish is 'claiming' that she has already talked to the cops, and they say she can have their daughter stay there for every other week. Well, according to the national sex ofender registry, her dad is not to be near ANY minor child. Also, before staying where foolish's parents are, foolish has stayed with 3 different men. To top that off, foolish got kicked out of each place. Foolish only got to stay maybe 2 or 3 weeks at each. Foolish has no job. Foolish has no common sense when it comes to shuffling thier daughter from one guys place to another. She really thinks she can trust each guy she stays with. Any suggestions about what my son can do to protect his daughter from Foolish's Stupidity?

Just so you all know. It is NOT my son that is the sex ofender. It is foolish's father.

Does he have legal custody? If not he better get it quick! Gather any proof and wittiness,s you can that she is an unfit parent. Without these things she can take the child at any time. Maybe to never be seen again. Their are child protective agencies that can help. Do not let that child out of your sight. You already know the mother is a lier and unstable

He can petition the court for a "Guardian ad litem" and they will have someone check it out for the best interest of the child.
The cops have nothing to say about it if it's in the parenting plan, or if it's a sex offender situation. I'd sooner move to Iraq than let that crap happen.

Get a custody order. That's the only way anything is going to get done. Tell him to go and see a lawyer ASAP. And no, she can't go and stay with a registered sex offender if he's not allowed to be near any minor child.

petition for an emergency protection and custody order. There are many fathers rights groups that can probably provide some type of resources or advice. Google fathers parental rights or things like that... Either way - legal or not - he must protect that child!

I think you need to pay for a very good lawyer for your son. After all, he's just as foolish as she is, isn't he?
