My friend and i like the same girl (we'll call her sarah). we're both in high school and neither of us have ever had a gf. he said that he liked her when i was going after another girl. the other girl turned me down and when i got back to school sarah was in my class. i've been trying not to fall for her but i can't help it. she's pretty, smart, and mature which is a rarity for high school girls. i've been helping my friend ask her out but i just realized that i can't keep myself from liking her. i'm in a much better position than my friend to ask her out. i talk to her everyday and have her # while he only sees her once a week. my friend and i have been friends w/ her for a year.

The thing is that he will b pissed if i ask her out. i've known my friend for a LONG time and i don't want to lose friends but at the same time i want to date the girl that i like. i don't want to get into a situation where i have to choose between them. what should i do?

I think the noble thing is keep trying for your friend, but most people with hormones racing are far from noble. How good a friend is he? Do you think you could get her to go out with him? If not tell him so and ask her out, You would probably get him PO'd but you have such an advantage, it's difficult not to use it. But you didn't hear this from Me.

Been there, stick with your friend dude. Seems like true love and all of that good stuff right now, but the best thing you will ever do in life is find a girl who gets along with your friends and vice versa.

There will be plenty of girls after high school. More intelligent, hotter, more mature. Trust me.

I think it would be better if you stayed out of the situation. Dont date this girl, as much as it may be a struggle, it would be worse if you were in the other situation. Your best options are to wait for your friend to find someone else to be interested in or there is a chance this girl may turn him down, and them maybe you could ask him if it was alright with him.

Well, this is totally your decision. If its worth getting a girl you know he will be mad if you ask out, over a REALLY long friendship, go for it. But if it were me, I'd keep my friends, and forget the person im trying to date. Friends come first before relationships especially when its a relationship you and your friend both want.

Ok in this situation you have to tell your friend that you like her too. Because if he ends up going out with her is will make you mad and if you go out with her he will be mad at you. So when you tell your friend that you like her too if he is a true friend he will stop trying to go out with her. So if you have any other question feel free to ask. GOOD LUCK!

Talk to your friend man explain it to him that you are falling for her an if he understands he would let you go out with her and maybe you could help him get another girl because he let you have the one that he liked.

ok, enable's ignore about each and every of the sexist human beings accessible! that is the twenty-first freaking century. in case you want someone, tell them. women shouldn't ought to journey backseat to adult adult males all of our lives in basic terms because that is considered "custom". Screw that, lol! I easily have requested out adult adult males before, and many times it is going noticeably properly. adult adult males like women that take charge. in case you i love someone then I tell them. i imagine it really is how all women ought to imagine. Yeah it feels strong to get requested out, yet enable's settle for it, 1/2 the inhabitants don't have the balls for that. now and again the lady in basic terms has to get the courting all started, then the guy can take over from there.

Dude! Talk to *her* about this! I'm sure she'll be flattered and pleased that you were brave enough to admit what you feel. (I know I would be!!)

As for your friend, in the end, it's Sarah's decision who she chooses, so if she chooses you over your friend, your friend should respect that, if she chooses your friend over you, you still have to respect her decision.

Good luck -- it's every man for himself!! ;)

DONT Do it!
it is a death wish.
You will find another girl.
Plus probably the only reason you like her, is because your friend likes her, and she is off limits to you. Just dont do it. Just stay friends unless she asks you out.
