My ex girlfriend got angry with me twice because I do not answer the phone immediately when she calls, and I do not promptly call her back after she leaves a message. We broke up over one & half year ago, and we have a child together and she moved out of state, and I have my child.
She mentioned that when I call, that whatever she is doing she answers my phone calls and immediately reply to any message that i leave. And she feels, when she calls that I just watch my phone caller i.d. & ignore the call & let it go straight to voice mail. (At times I am busy).
I feel that we are not together anymore, and I am not obligated to answer her calls immediately and reply back to any of her messages. If the message she leaves is important I get back to her immediately, otherwise I don't bother responding to her.
I believe she has someone else in her life and I am happily dating.

My question is why is she acting that way, especially she is the one that broke off the relationship.

Everywhere I read in response to being successful at being able to ask girls out (especially the better looking women) you have to be super confident. But I just don't see any possible way I can have any confidence, no matter what I do.

- I've never had a single girlfriend, so my self-esteem is very low. [I'm 20 years old now]
- I do not have a car of my own so I do not drive, plus I don't have a job. (I consider my schoolwork a job, I have a 3.8 GPA in mechanical engineering)... still live at home, but not really a momma's boy, I will move out in due time.
- I am ultra shy, I don't talk a huge amount even to people I know well. I am not capable of talking for hours on end like other "confident men" are able to do.

It seems like with all these, I basically have three strikes against me and no chance at all... The only two things I have going for me is my good mind (I pretty much outperform everyone in college). Also I am fairly good looking, but that's about it...

recently me and my girlfriend split up we had such a good relationship we had loads of amazing times together and spent so much time with eachother it was great but i wasnt the best boyfriend to her we went out for nearly a year 11 months. i didnt realy trust her that much and toke advantage of her niceness and was selfish and didnt listen/respect her enough i didnt no what i had and how much she liked me until it was too l8 she said i was a bit obsessed as well now she doesnt wanna give me asecond chance and does think i will be diffirent she doesnt rly trus me and said i was too up an down . i really wanna show her my good side and b there for her and have some amazing times again i need a second chance. shes an amazing girl .?????

I just bought my husband a brand new Harley. He is so excited about it, and well so am I. What a turn on. I had never even been on one till now. And man! I like it alot!! Very exciting! :) Well, now my husband is wanting me to go to take lessons to ride, and he wants to get me one too. I am kinds nervous about that, because I like to drive really fast!! I know how unsafe a motorcycle can be, but the excitement is kinda over riding the fear. But what I would like to know is if guys like that kinda thing?? Seeing a girl on a Harley? Or do you automatically think shes a dike?

guy 1: i have known him for like 8 years. we were never like super good friends, but we talk and hang out. ok so sometimes i see him (out of the corner of my eye) looking my way. i cant really tell if he likes me or not but i have a feeling. hes quiet and smart, but not the best with girls.
guy 2: this guy i really think he likes me. i havent known him for a long time, but he shows more signs than guy 1. he likes to (just messing around) hold my arm, and put his arm around me. but its just so annoying. he cant be serious at all. i cant tell!? he (at lunch) asked me to our dance, but when i said "seriously?" (cause i had NO idea) he just started laughing and was like im just kidding. it made me mad.
Will either of these guys ask me out?!?!

Am I the only one who thinks this.
I get good grades and stuff and I only get reminded of how bad I am in math.

I USED to take long to shower and get dressed, but I don't anymore. Anyhow, ppl still reflect on that and don't notice that I 've changed.

We have been together for 8 years now have 2 beauitful boys and love each other a lot,but i have a problem with him wanting to do what he wants,when he wants whenever he wants!!Pretty much he wants cake &wants to eat it too.That dosent mean being with another,so he says?.He works 5 days a week ,a lot of hrs so we hardly see each other .I work 4 days and take care of our boys and the house.When it comes to the week end all he wants to do is go to the bar and is always doing stuff with other pepole!! I tell him we need to spend time 2gether and that he goes out 2 much when he dose have free time.. He gets mad and says i heckle him 2 much..So then i start to feel like he is cheating !I tell him all he has to do is spend time with me and i wouldnt feel like that but nothing changes!He dosent want me to leave so he says but he driving me that way!!I have given this all igot but he dosnt act like he cares!What can i do???

My husband surprised me with a trip to go see Cirque de Soleil "Love" in Vegas for our one year anniversary. I feel so lucky that he got it for me and I don't want to sound superficial...but the gift I wanted to get him (Wii) is totally extinct everywhere I went. My friend is getting married, and she really wants sleeveless bridesmaid dresses. One of the other bridesmaids is mormon, so she does not want to wear a sleeveless dress. The bride does not want to single out one person, nor does she want everyone to wear jackets. he stopped talking to me months ago. There is this guy who sits behind me in english. This is my first year having classes with him. He talks to me quite often, he looks me in the eyes, and sometimes we catch eachother just looking into eachothers eyes for a couple of seconds. He has complimented my art work, and asked me to come see his band. He always teases me, and is kind to me.
But just recently, I have found out that he has a girlfriend, and that they are fighting. I believe they have just ended the relationship.
Has he been flirting with me? I think they ended their relationship before he started talking to me... But I am not sure... Does he like me? Or am I just another girl in his class..?

i really like this guy & my friends all say we should go out! My husband and I have a business together he does the manual stuff and I run the office etc. My husband can be really mean when he wants to be. He tends to belittle me and finds everything I do wrong but never says anything if I do something right. His favorite line at the moment is "your not listening to me". I have no margin for error as he doesn't miss a thing if I do something wrong. If I try to defend myself it only makes it worse and he gets angrier and then just loses it completly. My husband has never hit me but he has come close on a few occasions. He tells me just to shut up and not say anything when he's in a mood as it only makes it worse. Can you suggest any ways I can deal with my husband so he can see I do alot of work and it isn't easy for me in the office.

what causes a man that seems interested and wants to talk to you every day...then suddenly the next day seem distant and only says hi with a nod of his head....

A man that always wanted to stand next to me. A man that always looked like he wanted to kiss me and get his way with me if there were no people around us. We have be friends taking it slowing BUT then One day he just changed ..more like a complete different person...

I don't know what to think any more..I miss talking to him..I thought something would come out of this BUT i just wanted to take it slow....

My co-workers are being really mean and unbending. It's like every idea that I come up with, gets shot down. When I perform well in a job, it doesn’t get notice or is covered up. When I make the slightest mistake, it gets blown up and the whole group frowns on it.

To me, this is really petty but the question has to be asked. Are women intimidated by a competent and confident man?

Please answer honestly so that I can find a common ground in my workplace.

Please list some behaviors that engage in when they are intimidated.

1. Do they talk down to you?
2. Get mad when you out perform the group?
3. Get angry when you find a better way of doing things?

Please help. I'm new to the corporate world and I think it's time for me to be schooled in the field of office politics.

I met both my ex and his best friend in high school in 1997. When me and my ex started dating for about 2 weeks, his best friend asked if he can f**k me. Of course I said no. As I started hanging around with my ex and all his other friends, my feelings for that one best friend grew. I fell in love with him. I told all my girl friends that if me and my ex ever broke up I would go out with his best friend. Me and my ex stayed together for 8 years. Now that we're not together anymore, I let his best friend know that I like him. His response was "I have a girlfriend." Which I know is a lie. Why won't he date me?
