It was my first time and we've been friends for a while. I used protection so there's no disease problems or anything it's just that we haven't talked at all since then...it's sorta weird. What should I do to try and bring back the old friendship????

I'm 16 by the way.

There's this girl at work who always goes "Hey, you, I need your help" in a very commanding, non-polite voice.

I got fed up so I went up to her and asked what the hell her problem was. I told her if she wanted my help, ask nicely. And that she didn't have to like me because I certainly don't like her, but business is business. Then I completely ignored her since then.

I'm twenty-something by the way.

Am I a bit immature? Or is it good that I stood up for myself?

I'm doing a research project on punjabi weddings and I hardly use the internet so I have difficulty paraphrasing stuff that I find. Besides, english is my second language and I cannot do it properly. So, if you can, please paraphrase the following paragraph for me. thanks.

here is the paragraph. much love for all of you. hope all of you live a prosperous and healthy life.

Shaadi: A granthi or the holy man is usually in charge of the marriage ceremony. The ceremony begins with an explanation of the importance of marriage. The couple then show they agree to be married by bowing to the Guru Granth Sahib. Then the bride's father ties the bride's chunni to the groom's scarf to symbolise her departure from the bride's family to join the groom's family. A marriage hymn of four verses, the 'Lavan, written by the Sikh teacher Guru Ram Das, is then sung. To symbolise their support, the relatives help the bridal couple to walk around the Guru Granth Sahib after each verse of the hymn has been sung. The couple is declared married at the completion of the fourth round. Throughout the ceremony, hymns are sung and prayers are said for the future happiness of the newly-weds. The hidaayat or niyams - their duties and responsibilities towards each other as man and wife, and also towards their elders - are now recited to the couple. Final prayers are then said and sweets, Karah parshad, made from flour and sugar, are distributed to the people present to seek God's blessings for the new couple. Relatives and friends garland the newly-wedded couple and present gifts. A meal follows, either at the Gurdwara if the ceremony has taken place there, or at the bride's house.

I've been married for a little over a year, my husband is deployed, and my husband and I have jealousy issues.

I'll start with mine: a few years before I met my husband I had a really bad relationship with a guy, with no trust due to cheating. It took me a long time to be able to think about it and not get upset and/or cry. After him, I dated a few guys casually which helped me deal with my trust issues and realize that not every guy is like him. Now I'm married to a man who makes me feel like I'm the only one he sees and we have a beautiful daughter. I wasn't having any jealousy issues, and then I got pregnant and they came like a hurricane. I thought maybe it was the emotional rollercoaster of the pregnancy that was making me suspicious of my husband all the time, but its continued 2 1/2 months (so far) after our daughter was born. He hasn't done anything that should make me feel like this, so why am I doubting him? Is it possible its the deployment is partly a cause?

I'm re-posting this cause I didn't really like the way the question was worded the first time.

I love my fiancee with all of my heart, and I know that this is the man that I want to spend the rest of my life with. There is no question in my mind.

That being said...lately I've been feeling a little bit distant, and he has commented on this as well. He asks what's wrong, but other than being tired, I can't really put a finger on anything. He's good to me...amazing. We are best friends, and we have a great sex life. We normally communicate well but for the last few days I just haven't really been interested in sex or even cuddling when we do see each other. I'm feeling overwhelmed by everything going on in my life (work, school, and keeping up our home)

I work third shift while he works first. He also doesn't have a set schedule, so he never knows if he will be working 6 hours or 16. (to be continued...)

My wife died when I was 25, nine years ago. In those nine years, I have never dated anyone, never felt attracted to anyone, and have lived celibate, sharing my home with no-one but our daughter.

The simple fact is this is how I want to live now.

I have loved, lost, and remain devoted to my late wife. I believe we will meet again someday and from a relationship standpoint am waiting for her. I no longer consider myself a "sexual person".

I would be interested to know whether you feel this is "normal" or "weird", just out of curiosity.

My boyfriend and I are untraditional. We have decided that I will be the one to propose to him. I have bought his ring. I have planned the proposal and we talk about the future constantly. He is expecting me to propose. But now I feel like I'm getting cold feet.

Details:

1. He is sweet, sensitive, funny and we share the same values. He treats me very well. Neither of us is rich, but we are sensible about money and I am certain that we would have a secure future.

2. He is wonderful to me in bed, but he has erectile dysfunction. We are investigating options, but we do not know the prognosis. Regardless, he is a sensitive lover and I am satisfied sexually. I have never had intercourse anyway, so I don't know what I'm missing. I am concerned, however, that if there is no treatment it will come to frustrate us in the long run.

3. We have not decided whether we want children or not. He originally thought he wanted them...I have not been so sure and neither of us feels ready to decide.

My husband had a seven-month affair and I don’t know what to do?
You see he is my best friend and we have been through so much together.
We have been married for 5 years but we have been together for 15. We have been doing IVF for the past seven years and because of complications with treatment I have ended up in intensive care twice in the past 5 years both times I nearly died. My husband has been fantastic always there by my side I never felt I was going through anything on my own; he was always there with me. At the begin of last year I had to have an operation and was very ill when I came home he was brilliant as usual. But by the end of last year he had change completely he was very distant and when I would ask him if their was anything wrong he would say no or he just needed to be selfish for a bit and concentrate on himself. He started going out with work more, his music taste changed he even started to dress differently. By February this year I knew there was defiantly something going on and after a lot of questions and arguments he finally admitted it. Apparently he had felt so needed for so long and when I was well he felt sort of redundant and around the same time a 20-year-old girl had started work in his office. She laugh at his jokes, the ones I have heard and laughed at a thousand times, he felt attractive again, needed and wanted. He said there is no question I am and always will be the love of his life but he did think life might be easier with someone else, because so many thing had go wrong for us. I defiantly feel we should have got counselling while we were going through all the treatment, but he never said how he was feeling and when I did asks it was too late. He has ended the affair and we are trying to put it behind us. I always thought it doesn’t matter if I don’t get a child because I have my soul mate the love of my life but now I feel I have been cheated out of that as well. I know I have rambled on a bit but I wanted you to have some background about us before you gave me advice, it’s so easy for other women to say just leave him, but I do still love him. I just wanted to know if this is a common occurrence with infertile couples because I am heart broken and feel so alone. So if there is anyone out there who has some advice please help me!

I have this friend that I've known since 6th grade (we're both in 9th grade now) and we used to have a lot of fun together. But now she is changing. Just because I'm into 70s, 80s and 90s music, she says that it's stupid. Today at our school we had a pancake breakfast and I invited her, just HER and another friend of mine and she shows up to my mom's car with her brother when I clearly just invited her. Then because my mom and I were late she said "I was about to do something else since you weren't coming" even though we called and left her a message. I have nothing agansit her brother, but I really just wanted it to be the 4 of us(me, my mom, my other friend and her). I also get picked up from shool and she always depends on me and my mom for rides and since my mom listens to the same kind of music I like (oldies stuff) she says all the time in a discusted tone "Oh what's this song?". I'm really getting sick of it. WHat should I do? She also almost brought her sister to my birthday party last year and is always trying to bring her sibs to events that I just invited HER to. HELP!

My ex and I went out for 3 years and lived together for 1. When we moved in together, we bought a dog. We broke up recently, and she got the dog. She has asked me to pay 1/2 of dog-related expense for one year, which equates to several thousand dollars (we live in NYC). What is my responsiblity here?

I know he loves and he is hurting, but he is letting his mind control his heart. He has like 2 different personalities and he even comes right home after work and still eats dinner with me, but says he is to scared to get back together because things could go back to the same. I have been speaking to a counselor and getting help and he just keeps saying is won't work and it is to late for chances. We have only been married 2 years and I just keep telling myself to hold and and things will get better. He said he doesn't want a divorce and he doesn't want to be with anyone else. He just wants to be single and free. How long do I wait though?

Conversation I had. Basically. A friend of mine has a relative. He had just found out that his wife of 8 yrs was having an affair for 5 yrs. She was a member of one of these adulterous website. She NO remorse for her action. From hear kind of proud. She divorced her husband and went to be with one of here "lovers." Crushed the guy! The day she was suppose to move in with her new partner. She got into a horrible car crash. She got messed up really bad. In a coma for a week. My friend made this comment. "Karma can come at you in many ways. Good and bad. . ." He's a big believer in karma. Was that really karma for what she did to her husband and marriage. Isn't that kind harsh?

My girlfriends ex always calls or texts her when he is drunk. I love my girlfriend dearly and she tells me the same =). Nearly every thursday he calls and texts her. I'm not so worried because she always tells me when he does it. But she always deletes her messages when she gets them from him and when she sends them back. She always reassures me he's just a friend but it does annoy me because i know that he is asking her things he shouldn't because she has me. Am i too protective of her or should i have a chat and ask her to ignore his calls and texts?

I got raped when I was 14 and I got pregnant. I gave birth to a baby girl. I am 22 now. And I worked to get my body back into shape. I am pretty and so is my daughter. We are both fit. My daughter is well mannered. I have a medical degree, and I haven’t been dating because I was studying. Now I have more free time, and my daughter goes to a great school. Would guys around my age want to date me, even though I have a daughter?
