I have this friend that I've known since 6th grade (we're both in 9th grade now) and we used to have a lot of fun together. But now she is changing. Just because I'm into 70s, 80s and 90s music, she says that it's stupid. Today at our school we had a pancake breakfast and I invited her, just HER and another friend of mine and she shows up to my mom's car with her brother when I clearly just invited her. Then because my mom and I were late she said "I was about to do something else since you weren't coming" even though we called and left her a message. I have nothing agansit her brother, but I really just wanted it to be the 4 of us(me, my mom, my other friend and her). I also get picked up from shool and she always depends on me and my mom for rides and since my mom listens to the same kind of music I like (oldies stuff) she says all the time in a discusted tone "Oh what's this song?". I'm really getting sick of it. WHat should I do? She also almost brought her sister to my birthday party last year and is always trying to bring her sibs to events that I just invited HER to. HELP!

She also thinks that me having a tiny obsession with Zac Effron is bad and that I like Disney Channel and Radio Disney and tells me that my favorite song "Umbrella" is stupid unless it's the remix that has Chris Brown in it.

Wow... That's really rude of her. You don't invite yourself over, and if you are invited, you don't invite anyone else. Doesn't she know that? Well, all you can do is tell her how you feel. Say it in a serious voice cuz she may just not take you seriously. Best of luck! <3 I know how you feel.

Tell to stop inviting people without asking you first because, its not her party or get togethers. About the music you can tel to either bring her a radio with earphones or find herself another ride. It is not her car it is your moms car and your mother controls the radio not her.

your friend sounds really mean if she's mean to your mom and she shows her attitude than she's not your friend you sound like a really good friend your mom is helpful but if she takes you and your mom for granted don't be her friend you could listen to any music you want
