Ok my baby's father, nice guy wants to b in our baby's life and im glad about that. Im gettin married and im moving to another state so how do i work the whole visitation thing out with him. We're both in the army but he just left for iraq. What do i do?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 9 months. I absolutely adore him and want to take it to the next level, but I want to know others' opinions on their first time. Is 17 too young, even though I truly feel like I'm in love? And will this put a strain or pressure on our relationship?

I am so embarrased to even be writing about this. I want a divorce, I have been emotionally abused for the past two years since my husband has returned from Iraq... and I just can't take it anymore--he choked me tonight when he said "I went beserk" (and I did because of the name calling, put downs an degradation).

I am embarrased because we have been married for 8 years, and have two kids...and I can almost picture people saying "i told you so" because we were married so young.

I don't know what to do. I still have a year and a half of school left and my kids just moved . I really have no real job and want to continue school--I have saved enough to do so. I feel guilty for moving my son out of yet another school...but it has got to better than seeing his mom called worthless, and nothing everyday. I don't know how things got this way, or how to get out.

The emotional abuse has left me feeling paralyzed, like I couldn't take care of myself without him... Where do I begin?

We moved from one place to where we live now he stayed behind to close on the house and tie up loose ends the house thing was done in two weeks; first part of Jan, he didn't move here until march. He only came he on weekends and he told me when I wanted to go see him that under no circumstances was I to come see him (3 hours away). Since he has moved here we haven't slept in the same bed. I went on vacation w/my kids(OURS) I told him I had enough. He was remorseful then. After I came back home (6week later) still no intimacy. Then I had a horrible thing happen to me (my intestines burst in my abdomen) and he still treats me as a room mate. He says he still loves me but I think he is not in LOVE with me. I want to stayed married but not sure what to do. My religion does not allow divorce. So I guess I am stuck. Any Opinons?

There's this guy who is really nice. My friend is trying to get me together with him and I'm kinda starting to like him. Everyone she's told says him and I would make a cute couple and I kinda do want to go out with him. The only problem is that I'm not confident enough to talk to him. And I really don't know what to say. I mean, I sort of know him and we're not really friends but we know each other. I just don't know how to let him know that I'm sorta interested in him. so someone please help me! my bf's best friend is a girl (which is no problem don't get me wrong). she used to be one of my good friends, but we've lost it. So she is getting married to one of my close friends, he is like my brother. She went to my bf's house at one in the morning asking HIM to help HER with HER wedding vowes and poem. Now, earlier, My bf helped pick out HER engagement ring. She gets into our bussiness a lot, and it is putting stress onto my bf's and i's relationship. I don't want to tell him not to be friends with her, but there is a line that she long crossed. i need help. assurance? or ways to try to tell her to back off? i DONT want to have him lose a friend though. he thinks i just plain don't want him hangin out with her, and that's not an issue for me, its her getting into our bussiness. they feel they have to stay married for better or for worse...wait, life is way too short for that....letting some guy abuse you, breathe alcohol all over you, and just verbally cause you pain...you feel if you are Catholic...you should stay...that is a warp way of thinking....wasn't that back in the 1960's????...The old he beats the s--t out of me; but i love him!!!..oh yea!!!

is it wrong to ask my boyfriend to let me keep control of the bank accounts so i can make sure we don't overdraw the account? I don't want to check up on him or anything I just think it will be hard to keep track with two different debit cards plus I will be paying all the bills since he is away from home for 6-8 weeks at a time b/c of his job. We are fixing to move in together and I have never had to share a bank account with anyone. Probably all the money in the account would be his. I am 21 and he is 24. I am a full time student. Do you think deppression should be treated with drugs? Im always seeing these commercials were people are like oh im deppressed better get some drugs quick. Ive heard people say things like "oh my husband of 14 years left me and for some reason i just feel deppressed.... what drugs should i be taking?" Why is it so common now to take drugs when your feeling a little down? Do doctors get paid for subscribing it to you?

I spent 2 + years with my child's father, and the weekend of mother's day I had found out he was cheating on me probably the whole time with someone at work, while I took care of his 2 kids and his house and contributed financially to his household while taking care of my own.
Yesterday after months of avoiding times where he would go to the store since i know his routine after two years, I ended up running into him. He has not seen his son in 5 months since he walked out on me and our 7 month old son.
He has done countless things to us to make our lives miserable, but yesterday he asked if he could have visitation rights. I kind of know what i plan to do and say, but i am thinking of what's in the best interest of my son. He does not help one iota with our son.
I have a hard time believing him after years of lies, and I will never trust him again, especially after all his threats.
My decision i need to make is whether he gets visitation or not. Take a vote.

My daughter married a mexican 16yrs ago,had a son w/him who's now 15yrs old. She left her husband when her son was 5yrs old &moved back to her home state. Her husband came back to spend a night w/her saying he wanted to talk things out. In mid of the night,he took their son & left. We had no idea where he was til 3 wks ago. We went 2 visit w/him & have stayed in contact ever since,but now his father keeps trying to keep him from talking on the phone. Says he lost the cell phone a couple of days & etc.His father has kept him at home all the time(no school sports or social life). He told us he used to have friends that he would play ball w/at the park when his dad went w/him,but now they're older & do other things now he only has his dad & his dads friends. That isn't good 4 him. He needs a social life himself. He told him be4 he could come visit 4 holidays,but now says no. Things got worse after she sent money 2 son.How do we deal w/it? They're still married. Serious answer please.
