There's this guy who is really nice. My friend is trying to get me together with him and I'm kinda starting to like him. Everyone she's told says him and I would make a cute couple and I kinda do want to go out with him. The only problem is that I'm not confident enough to talk to him. And I really don't know what to say. I mean, I sort of know him and we're not really friends but we know each other. I just don't know how to let him know that I'm sorta interested in him. Please help?!

Just walk up to him and say, "Hi, Our friends seem to think we should meet" and take it from there

Try simply telling him you would like to know if he is interested. He will either say Yes or No-Trust that however he responds is the perfect answer and let it go. Spend time with him along with friends at first and then go from there. Being friends first makes both parties more real and not always on their best behavior-LOL
The only limits any one of us has in our lives are those we choose to impose-choose different. Go for it and accept the results with grace-or let it go if he is not into the idea and be freinds-or not-your call.

yeah, this is what i'm going through
when i first saw my guy
i was definite i wanted to be his friend
then i started liking him
firstly, you gotta be friends with him then start dating
you can't automatically go from strangers to dating
anyway, what i did
was i just went up to him
and said hey, how'd u do on the test?
aren't you in my math class?
and just kept talking and becoming friends
then i started flirting
by wearing nice clothes, etc.
(but don't do that)
and he actually flirted back and smiled everytime i looked at him
and he did that cool "hey" sign with his face that every guy does
that sign that some guys do to girls when their checking them out
lmao i'm like blushing
everytime i think bout it
sorry out of topic
anyway, just stay relaxed and try to talk to him more
if something feels weird he's not the one

ask him for advice, but how i do it is.
Ask him for help, get him to the side with you, and just say
" Hey i need some help, I kinda like this guy, and being that your a guy and all, maybe u can help me and what u think?
Well, i really like him, and what is the best way that i can get his attention? with out........... u know.... with out making me look like a loser or freak and all?
let him answer.
then throw some ideas back and forth..
and then you make the exit and say.
Well, i gotta get going,
"So are u kinda curious on who this guy is?"
and if he answers nah,
Look him in the eye and say,
"either way, its you." just comly and wink at him.
its up to you to walk away or not.
i personaly did walk away, but my sistuation was kinda different. lol. good luck!!!

Get over your shyness. All you have to do is ask him a question about something you know he likes (even if it bores you). He'll just start talking and after a while, you'll join in and voila - instant conversation. Then on your next convo, talk about cool things like shoes and eyeliner. :)

You should give him some tips. I'm not sure if you are in school or not, but imagine that you are at school, I would invite him to help me to study with me. Then, I would invite him to do things that he likes and start to know him better.... and then I would tell him that I'm interested. That sounds a plan, isnt'it?

If you like this guy just talk to him the way you talk to all your other friends and family. Be yourself, never be or act like someone your not. It never works! Confidence comes from inside. Talk about your hobbies, school, likes and dislikes, music, TV shows, sports, movies.

Sorta interested is like i sorta feel like dennys and once you eat it you wish you hadnt, dont tell him till you KNOW your interested in him, remember he is a person also with real feelings !!

well eventually youre gonna have to start talking to him. say goodbye to that big shyness. little by little. just talk to him when your friends are around. maybe they can help have u asked them??
