I'm trying not to get into the lifetsyle of a 21 yr old. I know this sounds corny but it's like the "LA lifestyle". At first you're kinda cautious about it but one night at the bar turns into having that fun every weekend.

I've heard it's not worth it and it gets old pretty fast but I hate to admit it but i get tempted...I'm a student wanting to go into healthcare and not to sound biased but it's very competitive and challenging - you're either cut to be in it or not - there are not second chances - someone's always trying to get your spot.

I've never "experienced" this lifestyle but i've seen it second hand with older cousins and friends...I get "judgement" from people that i'm "innocent" but it's not that...I just don't wanna get tangled up in it. I just want to concentrate what's in front of me first and deal with parties later. Don't get me wrong, i'll have fun once in a while but bars/clubs just seems risky and dangerous right now...

I’m 20 yrs old, 5’7 130 and HAVE NEVER HAD A GIRLFRIEND. I try and play the game but the rules keep changing. First it’s personality over prestige, so I try to let go of inhibitions, not leaving reality completely, and I’m ignored for not being more concerned with the latest fashion or a nice car, so I slightly tilt the scale to prestige over personality, and buy a new mustang GT and plan my wardrobe like a chess move and then I’m ignored for lacking personality. My god, am I that repulsive, do I sound like a cement grinder, do I smell? What the hell am I missing? I don’t get it I don’t try to “hook-up” I try and ask if they would like to go get coffee or ice cream, instead of what seems to be the modern first date idea “Can I get you drunk sometime?” A lot of women will do horribly disgusting thing on film for the whole world to see for a pittance of a paycheck, yet coffee with me? My god, what would my family think? I’m not just trying to get laid or find someone hot, a girl can be hot yet not attractive to me, I’m looking for some one else who falls somewhere near me on the spectrum of life.

I've been out of the dating scene after a 3 year relationship. Finally ready to date again... I've been seeing this guy and we seem to really click. We aren't having sex or doing anything sexually - he's really respectable. But how many dates til I should expect him to ask me out officially? I'd really like him to be my boyfriend. So my boyfriend(of 5 years) and all of our friends are going on an ice fishing trip up north. Any other time I would be invited, but this time it was completly planned without me, and when I asked if I could go, he said no because "your a girl" and then gave me several other excuses.
I have always been one of the guys, I fish, ride dirt bikes, go mudding, that stuff is my life. I would love to go... His main reason is that they are all staying in a HUGE one room ice house, and it's just the boys. I have never notbeen allowed to do something, because im a girl, in my life. I have always done everything with my guy friends... and I don't have any chick friends to speak of that I would ever go do anything "just girls" with. Anyways, I am just upset that I can't go. At first I was supposed to go, then a few months later he told me that him and all our guy friends were going, and that I couldn't...

I recently married a wonderful 27 year old youth pastor. I am 22 years old. My parents, however, don't like my husband. They actually wanted me to finish college before getting married. Since the day we got engaged, they refused to have any contact with me unless I called off the wedding. They also have not allowed me any contact with my two minor siblings. I am working part time, faithfully attending church, activley involved in my church youth group, and go to school part time at a community college. I am not a bad person. Neither is my husband.

Should I pursue legal action in getting visitation rights with my siblings or should I just deal with the consequenses of marrying against my parents wishes? Should I wait till my siblings turn 18 to see them again? My parents aren't just in punishing me by not allowing me to see my younger siblings! I miss my them very much, and from what I've heard, they miss too. What should I do?

My husband and I are located in Texas and discussing divorce. He wants me to leave the apartment where the lease is in my name with his name as a tenant/roommate. We began renting this apartment after we were married and his credit was so bad the apartment complex would not put him as an actual lease holder.

Additionally, he has been unemployed for 2 years now, only working for about 2 months out of that, and I have been paying for everything. I know...I got myself a catch...

So my question: Does he have a right to kick me out? And if so, will I still be liable to pay rent as he is expecting me to do?

I will be discussing this with my apt complex tomorrow, and possibly contacting a lawyer, but I just wanted to know people's thought/suggestions until then. Thank you for your help.

we are just classmates..he did not show any interest in me before..but last week we came across in the hallway and he asked me out for a movie(very casual)..

then at a party, he said to two female mutual friends: hey L(my name), did you tell them we went to see a movie together yesterday?

and my female friend said: you and P(his name) went out for a date! I responded: no..it is not a date..just hang out...

then he said: L(my name), you can not say it does not mean anything...

what does this mean?!?

then today we met in the cafeteria..he invited me to his new house for thanksgiving and also house warming...(of course there are other friends...)

so I do not get him...is he interested or just I think too much?

Heres the situation: I recently turned 18 and got a small playboy bunny tattoo (actually just the outline, it isnt filled in) on my hip/ bikini line/ whatever right above my jeans. it looks so cute because i also have my belly botton pierced...but the catch is that my parents are extreme christian psychopaths. i dont know how to tell them and i know that they will freak out if i tell them. dont get me wrong, i am a christian too but i believe you can express yourself any way you like. i know that they will find out eventually when im in a bikini or whatever but i dont know how to calmly tell them. (after i got it, i just briefly asked them about getting a tattoo and they both laughed and said they would put me in rahab and see a psychologist if i got one...then i got a lecture and they obviously said no) - i also have another problem, see, this week i want to get a portrait tattoo on my upper back of my cousin who passed away along with a bible verse...should i tell them or just do it?

I left his house at about 10 pm and walked 4 blocks home in the dark in this rural community. I helped him unload 3 boxes full of shelving from his truck and carry his groceries in. He offered to walk home with me, but he already had gotten ready for bed, so I declined the walk along. I didnt really want him to think it was going to turn into a sex thing, so I left quietly. I figured he would call to see I made it ok and to tell me goodnite, but he didnt. Is it wrong to expect him just to check up on me. Am I wrong to think he should be a little considerate since I didnt encourage him to walk me home?

there's this one girl at my high school, we dont talk but she kept on staring at me but when i look back she seems to start looking away. When i passed by her in the hallway she seems to give me a glance and started to scream her friends name.

I feel like a total ***** which I really am not. He was at my friends party and he told her that he liked me and she asked me if I would date him and I declined. Well he added me as a myspace friend and I saw pics of him partying which was a huge turn off. A month goes by I think I made the wrong decision so I email him my screen name and we start talking. I should have been clear in the beginning I wasn't sure how I felt about him and just wanted to be friends. I think I can be a bit of a tease. I have some great qualities like I'm funny and sexy. I know that at this PRESENT he is having very painful times and overly stressed and hurt feelings.
Would you offer to him, as well, as I will - to come out of the negativity he has taken refuge in, while feeling so sad and wounded in the heart - as we have ALL experienced from time to time - and offer to him a few words of concern and the return to a far more positive state? I know he will appreciate it very much. He is a good person in a world which can be so ruthless, still, he is of deep and worthy feelings, and has much caring and genuine of being to offer . . . but now he is going through very hard times and he is such a young man with much of his goodness to offer to the world!
I believe that we, all being brethren, may succeed in helping him, find reason to take a safer refuge in positivity again, if we
encourage him. I would be very grateful and thankful for any kind words and encouragement you may join me to offer, to trust to return to the Light again.

If you were going to get married to the person you're with now in a few years, and you and your best friend planned on her being the maid of honor, but then something happened and your other can't stand your best friend and really don't want her to be in the wedding...would you drop her and find a new maid of honor, or would you keep her? okay, my problem is that I have been one of the guys my entire life. I have a dirt bike, I go hunting, fishing, all that stuff, anyways my boyfriend and all our friends are going ice fishing this winter, and he refuses to let me go because, "your a girl". I have never not been aloud to do something because im a girl, in my life.
Yeah, there will be 4 guys all ina HUGE ice house on the lake, and I would be the only girl. But they are both of our friends, infact I think I only have two friends who are girls, and all of the times I can remember when m guy friends didn't allow girls to go, they were up to no good...

Okay, here's the deal. I'm going to tell you a list of things I like and don't like. You tell me whether you think that my qualities are attractive or not. (By the way, I'm not gay)

Okay, first one. I CANNOT stand watching sports except for tennis and soccer. It's physically impossible for me to sit through a football, basketball, or baseball game because I get so bored. I would rather throw up than watch a bunch of people run back and forth on a field/court jumping on each other.

Second, I like cooking. I think it's fun. My favorite things to make is chicken, steak, hamburgers, french fries, and different types breads. I love making gourmet foods as well (I like a good challenge).

I have a really good sense of humor, but it's kind of dark. I get a kick out of other people's misfortunes. I like shows like Family Guy, Friends, Seinfeld, and Cheers. I'm also very sarcastic and I love laughing.
