okay, my problem is that I have been one of the guys my entire life. I have a dirt bike, I go hunting, fishing, all that stuff, anyways my boyfriend and all our friends are going ice fishing this winter, and he refuses to let me go because, "your a girl". I have never not been aloud to do something because im a girl, in my life.
Yeah, there will be 4 guys all ina HUGE ice house on the lake, and I would be the only girl. But they are both of our friends, infact I think I only have two friends who are girls, and all of the times I can remember when m guy friends didn't allow girls to go, they were up to no good...
Please tell me what you think. Anything would be helpful. I am just frustrated as hell, plus I DO like to ice fish, it would be nice to go! ?????

It's a guy thing. They want to be guys, not worry about some girl that's there. Get over it.

Maybe they just want a guy get away that doesn't include females. It's ok, don't get upset, just ask them if you could go another time with them. You don't need to whine about it. When they do go on their fishing trip, ask the girls if they would like to do something just the girls allowed.

This is kinda tricky. Sometimes guys really do just want to be with the guys and not always up to something. I know it sucks when your not included cause you are a girl but give the guys a break. Why not you and your boyfriend plan another trip with just the to of you .

well-i have the same problem some of the time.
all my life ive been friends with guys, and sometimes they really just want to do their own thing, and talk about stuff like girls. [thats what my friends tell me at least.] you just gotta realize that maybe their not comfortable talking about some stuff around you--dont take it personal.
its the same thing--would you REALLY want to talk about your period with them? for some reason im not thinking so...

Maybe he doesn't feel comfortable with you staying the night with a bunch of guys. Or maybe he's up to something that he doesn't want you to know about. I'm sorry to say it, but it might be true. There's no one you can trust 100%. So talk to him about it, or follow him without him knowing (though, doing that could cost your entire relationship). Just do what you've got to do.
