In my high school, there is this girl I talk to. We get along pretty well, and I would like to ask her out. In order to find out if she likes me back, I need to know if she was or is flirting. How can you tell if a girl is flirting with you?

if she touches your upper arm
looks down and stares up at you
bites her lip
laughs at your jokes
smiles alot
eye contact, but not too much
is genuinely interested in what you have to say
...then yeah, shes flirting :)

does she mimick your body language, same stances? Does she pay attention to you? Does she stroke or touch her hair as you talk to her?
If yes, she is interested.

talk to her more,see if have things you both like to do, then ask her to join you, lets see happens after that.
