I left his house at about 10 pm and walked 4 blocks home in the dark in this rural community. I helped him unload 3 boxes full of shelving from his truck and carry his groceries in. He offered to walk home with me, but he already had gotten ready for bed, so I declined the walk along. I didnt really want him to think it was going to turn into a sex thing, so I left quietly. I figured he would call to see I made it ok and to tell me goodnite, but he didnt. Is it wrong to expect him just to check up on me. Am I wrong to think he should be a little considerate since I didnt encourage him to walk me home?

I would agree with you, I think it is.
Of course, many people these days feel like something like that is "old fashioned", but I don't! Being considerate never goes out of style, and you are right to expect it!

No, not at all. He should have offered you a ride or at very least called.
