I'm a sophomore and I was inviting a couple freshman boys to my sweet 16 party. This really annoying ninth grade black girl came over by me and like told me I needed to invite her. I told her that she has no right telling me what to do and I told her I don't know her so no. She got all up in my face and I just told her I don't like her because she is annoying and talks to much. Was that a mean thing for me to do?

So i just met this girl like 2 months ago but we've gotten really close. She decided to hook me up with her best guy friend, whom at the time i didn't really know how close they were. Me and him started hooking up or whatever (which i don't usually do w/o a relationship but for some rediculous reason i did). Since the begining shes told me not to expect anything from him... but he proceeded to lead me to think he really liked me. Like an idiot i started like him and we have been hooking up now for a month. (Detail: I don't chase after him at all and he has no idea he i even like him) Today she decides to remind me that he doesn't want a relationship out of the blue.. weird. guess he told her to tell me? but yeah... i decided to stop talking to him, because i'm not going to hook up with no strings, i'm not like that. so she tells me "it's fine, he's a pimp he'll get over it. and dont get mad if he starts hooking up with me again." Wow, is this messed up or is it just me being sensitive?

A few days ago I got an email from our Anti-virus service informing me of activity on our computer. They provided me with a list of all of these pornographic websites. Apparently, my fiance has been going on porn sites in the middle of the night. And not just some pics of nude women....like videos of wild stuff.

I was soooo hurt! Our wedding is in 3 weeks. I told him I wanted to call it off. He apologized and told me that he would never do it again and he didn't realize how bad it would hurt me. But I don't think that's good enough.... I feel so disrespected! Am I overreacting? I am really struggling with this. I love him so much, but this is just not acceptable behavior to me.

(accidentally had this in the wrong section last time)

I'm 30. My mom has had brittle diabetes since I was one. She did not do the things she should have to help herself (exercise, eat right ...). Since I was around 5 I did all the laundry, made dinner (mac and cheese) for the family, and cleaned the house. My childhood was taken with this. Still, she did not help herself. She is very religious and always lectured me. She did not do things with me, did not even attend my bridal shower. Since I was a child, she was always "too sick" to do anything. Now she is 100 pounds overweight, blind, and has literally been sitting in front of the tv for 3 decades. She does not lift a finger. I have no respect for her. My father now has to do everything and it is so much for him. I still harbor anger toward her. How should I handle my relationship with her?

My son's father has not seen him in 8 years. He came back into the picture for a couple of months this year, and has stopped. My husband thinks that I should invite him to my sons baptism and I am just tired of seeing my son hurt over this situation. I don't know what to do, I don't want my son to blame me in the future. Okay i love my mom don't get me wrong and maybe about 20 % of the time she can be okay to be around!
but i'm stuck in this jam! I want to spend time with her but she has no respect for my words! I will sit there and listen to all her rants and camlaints even follow up with positive questions to show her the good side of life! she will cut me off most the time to get what she wants to say
I have had the talk to her in a nice way. nothing seemed to comefrom it! I love her but i feel my only last option is to just ignore her but i want her in my life I only have 1 mom!
i have sent her articles on how to be postivie i just don't think she cares!
then to cut me off over half the time i say anything! just to say what she want's to hear! from previous post i let her talk about her self with the 3 months we have worked to gether she asked how my day was maybe 2 times yet i ask her everyday I show intrest in her life she don't! in mine! i'm out of options and characters what can i do

My mother in law & her fiance are getting married next month. It is a second wedding for both the bride and groom and they are an older couple. What should my husband and I get them that isn't too cheesy? We were thinking of signing them up for a wine club, and that way they would recieve 2 bottles of wine each month for a year. Good idea? My sister has autisum and its really hard to live with her! She is always screaming if she doesn't get her way which means I can't always do what I wanna do. She is not spoiled she has a mental problem so it is not her fault so plz dont say that my parents spoil her! Does anyone else have a sibling or relative with autisum or something like it? i took my 2 1/2 year old daughter to go see her bio father/ my ex today.
everything went okay he was really happy to see her and im pretty sure it was genuine happiness, after all he hasnt seen her at all in almost 2 1/2 years.
im just not sure if im ready to trust him with her alone yet. Its not like hes abusive or a drug addict or anything its just i dont know if hes seeing anyone or what they are like etc.

not sure I should go. Reason? Well this girl sent me an email some months ago, telling me not to email her anything and that she HATES me. I have never done anything to her to make her feel this way either. She has sisters and I treat her sisters the same way I have treated her, and her sisters BOTH like me- so I cannot understand why she would hate me.
I cannot stand the idea of staying at her house for 3 days and having to make "nice nice" with her when I know she hates me for no reason. The hubby knows about this email and has refused to talk with her about respecting me as I am his wife, matter of fact he has never stuck up for me against any family member that disrespects me and this happens alot with his family. (mind you again, I am very respectful of everyone and always put someone elses needs before my own, as I was raised to do this and I have consideration for others too)
Should I tell him I dont want to go? and HOW can I tell him?

Okay so recently my husband has just been furious with and picking fights with me for no real reason at all. Here's why. We have a 31/2 year old (my Stepson), whom I am very close to. I do everything for this boy. I cook for him, clean up after him, play with him, bathe him, dress him, and make sure he always has everything he needs. I treat him and care for him like I would my own child. And as a result we have become really close. Baby prefers me over Mommy and Daddy 98% of the time. He has become extremely attached to me to. He always wants me to carry him or hold him and he doesn't want to go anywhere without me, he always has to be with me wherever I go. And most recently he’s even been crying for me when he goes to him moms house, which just infuriates her to no end and she calls daddy and yells at him. "why are they so close" Why does he like her so much" The baby likes me so much b/c he knows I take care of him.

my fiance was recently in a car accident after a series of bad decisions, which i cant help but blame on him being disfellowshipped and his family and friends not talking to him. he always said he was depressed and was trained to believe it, but stepped out and couldnt believe what he was taught. now he says hes going back and doesnt want to be with me because now that hes in the hospital all the jw's are there w/ him. i cant help but think thats its fear thats making him go back, and what can i do to help him? is this just because hes scared and they are making him think this happened because he left? i know it was his own decisions, but he went through a very angry time after he was dissed....im so hurt and confused as to what i can do to convince him he wouldnt be happy, which i know in my heart he wouldnt.

my daughter's eye color is so enigmatic, sometimes grey, sometimes taupe with a smidge of green, with a prominent outer ring and pupil.
Mine are similar, but more green and light brown than grey. Hubster's are blue. I love eyes. Big brown ones are cute!

this guy says he'll either kill me & himself or kill himself if he doesn't marry me. I no longer want to be with a guy like that. He says he'll change after marriage, but I know that men DO NOT change after marriage. So how do I break up with a guy who claims I'm his life & that no-one ever gave him love before? I met this girl on the internet. She seemed nice, like someone you could occassionally talk to. Anyway, after five conversations, I signed on, and she sent me an IM that said "I missed you." and then later she said she "loved me like a sis". She barely knew me! We had our first conversation 7/20, 2 months ago. It's school time, so I haven't talked to her for 2 weeks, and now she says "how could you leave me like that." I don't know what to do. She's an annoyingdrama queen, and she is ALWAYS upset about something. Plus, if I don't respond immediately (meaning in 5 secs) to everything she says, she buzzes me. And she even met this guy over the internet, and look what she says about him.
