Does anyone know about the neighborhood White Plains in NY?

Question

Are there nicer areas than others?
Do you know off hand of any nice areas Upstate that's not too pricey...
Sorry this is not about Marriage & Divorce but I'm getting divorced and moving so it may qualify for this section...

White Plains, NY is a great place. Most of the city is very high priced and gorgeous. There are two areas that are projects, but they are obvious and one is right next to the hospital. The other is near the City Limits Diner.

If you are looking for a not too pricey area, White Plains is not for you. The rents have sky rocketed in the last few years. To find less pricey areas you have to go farther north.

I made the mistake of selling my condo in White Plains and moved to Peekskill. Peekskill is 40 miles north, but less pricey. It is an OK place, but not nearly as posh as White Plains.

Yes white plains is a very nice area. There are a number of new things that have ben built and it looks even better. It depends on how much you want to spend on rent. You can also look at Hartsdale also a very nice place. There are some apartments on Central avenue that you can look at. The apartments near the hardale train station are also good.

The other area would be bronxville also in westchester and very nice too ...

White plains is a nice area!! Of course there are nicer areas than others, but that applies to every state/town. Westchester is nice too!!! Depends what you think pricey is ?

You're old enough to be married and divorced, but you don't know how to contact realtors, town halls, or local Commerce offices, for information???
