My ex-fiance and I broke up 5 mos ago. We have 2 children together a 2 year old and 1 year old. I didn't want to be so quick to put him on child support because I wanted to give him a chance to support his kids without using a 3rd party and most of all the LAW. I notice that every month he gives me stories (LIES) about his finances. Story after story and I keep on catching him in lies regarding his finances. The money that he do send is chicken feed and I know that this is done for spite. However, I still want to be reasonable about this and do not want things to get UGLY. I was thinking about sending a certified letter to his house with a well outlined agreement of how much of his share he should pay every month along with his responsibilities and get his signature and just work out an agreement that way.... This would be more like a "promise to pay and take care of my kids" type of agreement that can maybe be used in court........ Or should I just go on and file child support?

He quit suddenly on Sat night after all his adult life smoking. Sunday he was extremely nasty all day, and in front of the kids. I suggested he get patches or something and tried staying out of his way. He only dcided to get the nicotine gum on Tuesday .I smoke under 10 a day and since he quit I've been going outside the house. Tonight I stood at the back door, door open and kitchen door shut (so it wouldn't go further in the house) as it was cold and dark. He came storming in shouting at me saying how hard it is for him etc You might think I am not being supportive but there have been times over the years eg when I was pregnant or ill and I stopped smoking and he kept smoking in the kitchen. I never asked him to stop or go outside, and he never offered. As he was so nasty on sunday, it is hard to feel supportive of someone who called you a f*ing b*tch in front of your young kids, said he hated you etcHe has never asked for my support, just ranted and shouted more than usual.

I found out today that my ex-boyfriend has been telling lies about me to his friend. He has been saying that we have a class together(when we don't) That I have a new boyfriend and have been rubbing it in his face(which i haven't) and saying that I called him a loser(which i have never done). I broke up with him at the end of june for lieing and some other things. What should i do? The person that told me all of this(one of his friends) said i shouldn't confront him, but i want to, but i also don't want to cause more conflict with my ex-boyfriend then i already have(we broke up on a bad note). Help me! What should I do??

I have a friend that I hung out with since kindergarten, and I am in 8th now. We have been slowly growing apart, and I really just want to be acquaintances now. Like we just say hi and bye to each other in the hallways. What do I do to let her understand without being mean? My other friend is going through the same problem. That I will never measure up to someone's expections. I'm afraid to have a boyfriend because of what others will think. They'll probably say "Oh he is going out with that fat girl" and laugh and talk about me. I've never experienced having a boyfriend and having someone to like and hug/kiss while most by my age and grade have. I'm afraid of what others will think and if he will dump me. I know most of you will say that I need to have more self-confidence but sometimes I feel that I'm ugly and will grow up in this world all alone. I've pretty much been alone so far in my life, never really had any "real" friends in my life. What do I do????

My sister and mother in-law have been driving me crazy to the point were i hate them and i want nothing to do with them. To my mother in-law i am the worst mother and wife to my sister in-law well she has called me every dirty word in the book even in front of my kids. I have decided that i will no longer have ne thing to do with them. Do u think this is wrong? They have put me through hell for the past 5 yrs. I cant take anymore. Oh and my husband doesnt care that they do this to me. Yea i know what a wonderful husband. WHAT DO I DO. HELP!!!! I dont know how much more of this i can take before i leave.

I was at my brother's wedding last year and after the wedding and reception were over, I helped him and his new bride carry gifts up to their room. He was exhausted and fell asleep on the couch. She looked so beautiful in her wedding gown. I felt so bad that my brother was not going to make love to her. So, I helped her off with her dress and we made love. And now I feel kind of guilty. I want to live with my uncle, so what do i do? i live with my mom now, but i dont like it here. We always argue , but its never abusive. I am only 13 and am in ohio. so what number can i call or what can i do to live with my uncle?

BF is great does everything well! Treats me well all and all that! But he has one flaw and it bothers me alot. He's not very book smart nor does he speak intelligently. We keep hearing the argument about how "they're going to do it anyway"(a cop-out). According to that logic ,there must be a positive side to teenagers having premarital sex. Otherwise why would anyone want to enable behaviors that can lead to unwanted pregnancies, STD's, emotional distress, rape convictions(sexual patners over 18 can be charged with rape, consensual sex or not),lack of focus on academics and overall preparation for adulthood,etc? Have we given up being responsible adults by neglecting to teach our kids some self ccontrol and respect for their bodies and self esteem?

To make it clear, I'm not a fundamentalist trying to force my beliefs on others. However, I am quite concerned with the consequences recreational teenage sex has had on our society. .
I have no objections against responsible, well balanced, accurate sex education being taught in schools.providing parents have the right to see the curriculum and opt their children out of the classes

My man finally confessed he played the rule. We met at a club, I got a little tipsy so my friend gave him my number. I was ready to blow him off when I heard from him on the 3rd day. A few months ago I met a man. He's 33, twice divorced and has 3 kids (8 and 11 yo and a 2 yr old - from 2 women), no college degree but he was a professional. Thats not all though, he has been in a very bad car accident and is currently on disability and not able to work. He spends most of his days with his young son and then with me. I on the other hand am 25, no significant relationships (not much experience?), no kids, college degree, good entry-level job. What i do have is an overbearing family (who are impossible and controlling), which basically is threatening to cut me off from the family if i dont break it off with him.
I think I am in love with him, not sure exactly what love is. He on the other hand told me he loved me after 2 weeks of seeing eachother. So the real question is, do i stay with him and risk losing my family or break it off, save my family but destroy him? What do you think?

I just got engaged and we are having trouble deciding what color we want! He mostly left it up to me but I would like to make him comfortible in the color he wears too.....
