My man finally confessed he played the rule. We met at a club, I got a little tipsy so my friend gave him my number. I was ready to blow him off when I heard from him on the 3rd day. I always suspected he was playing the game and he finally told me. We're not young kids, I'm 38, he's 36 so I was a little annoyed. But, I'll be honest, he kept me on my toes, waiting for him. Why do people do this? I say if you like the person, call them!!! What do you u think?

Most people call others right away, other people just wait. I do not know why they wait, maby for the "thrill" of the hunt, I do not know why.

When my mom and her girlfriends went out to a bar that they always go to, my mom was dancing and she wanted a partner, and she reached out her hand to this guy and then they danced and he went back and sat down at his table, and then when he left, he gave my mom his business card, that way the ball was in my mom's court to call him, and she did, and they have been happily dating for a few months now!!!!

There's nothing wrong with not being "too" available. The only stupid thing is to confess that you're playing the game, and not simply having a life.

Not me...I don't want to be kept on my toes nor do I want to keep anyone on their toes. If I have to do that much work to make the connection then it isn't worth it. Some things should just come naturally and you should flow with them.

how long ago was this? i imagine you have both grown up since then. i think more people than you would like to know play games. some use it as a gauge b/c they don't have natural instincts to figure out dating. some people are just lame. i'd let it go if it was a while ago.

I have no idea what rule you are talking about. My wife and I were the first one that either of us dated, so there were no rules or games. It was so different than a Seinfeld episode.

Agreed. You're both too old to play games and if he is...you may want to abstain.
