We keep hearing the argument about how "they're going to do it anyway"(a cop-out). According to that logic ,there must be a positive side to teenagers having premarital sex. Otherwise why would anyone want to enable behaviors that can lead to unwanted pregnancies, STD's, emotional distress, rape convictions(sexual patners over 18 can be charged with rape, consensual sex or not),lack of focus on academics and overall preparation for adulthood,etc? Have we given up being responsible adults by neglecting to teach our kids some self ccontrol and respect for their bodies and self esteem?
To make it clear, I'm not a fundamentalist trying to force my beliefs on others. However, I am quite concerned with the consequences recreational teenage sex has had on our society. .
I have no objections against responsible, well balanced, accurate sex education being taught in schools.providing parents have the right to see the curriculum and opt their children out of the classes

Teens do have sexual feelings, that is why it is said they will do it anyway, but those feelings can be controled if they are brought up and taught that marriage is when one has sex and it's ment for married people .That is very important to wait until marriage. A lot of responsibilities come with sex. Raising children for one thing is not easy at all, people change unless they are in love and commited, there would be no std's.

IN GIRL CASE: they feel its the right thing to do like if they dont have that person to tell them right from wrong they could care less. Also girls might think that the only way they can get boys to respect them and/or want them is to open their legs and give them cutty. BUT its not if you open ya legs to every 1 u get a bad name 4 yourself and mean things get said about u.
IN BOYS CASE: they think its a good and stuff cuz they cant get pergnate and the can get cutty all day every day and brag about it. Well its not like that all the time
BOTH: a lot of teens think they grown and can do whatever but hey they do them
