I broke up with my bf last week because we're at different stages in our lives. We were best friends though, and I still consider him my best friend. He said he still wants to be friends.

He was really, really, really upset though, he cried for days afterward (not sure how he's doing now). I was his first girlfriend, and the only person he ever felt close to, he said. He wants me to bring him his stuff back this weekend-- should I wait a while to see him? How long? Is it selfish of me to still really want to be his friend?

Has this sort of thing worked itself out for someone? Because I care about him a whole ton and I can't imagine not having him in my life.

They are co-interns at the hospital and spend an incredible amount of time together. She is from another country and has no friends or family here. She is also engaged and is to be married in a few months, but her fiance is also in her home country. My boyfriend talks about her all the time and it's really bothering me. I dont feel right saying anything to him b/c we have only been dating 7 months and they have been working together much longer. Should i be worried or am i just being paranoid?

It's so hard to focus when all that's on my mind is being in a relationship. I've tried preoccupying myself with leisure but nothing. All of my friends are getting married and I just feel out of the loop. Being in a relationship wouldn't be the end all fix all to this nagging feeling but at least knowing you have someone would be nice. How can I be happy being single without it depressing me.

okay, there's this guy who's been liking me ever since seventh grade. he still likes me. i gave him a million hints that i didn't like him the way he liked me. he's a midget and stalks me. literally. he used to visit me everyday at my locker. he stopped for a while. now he sits with me at lunch. Ugh! i wouldn't mind that much if he actually had some friends. i mean, doesn't it seem a little odd for just one guy to be sitting in a table of all girls? Both my grandmothers have diabetes. One of them just barely has it I think. My mom is in the early stages of it. My maternal grandpa had it. Almost every "grand" relationship I have (like grandmothers, great grandmother) have (or had) some kind of heart problem. Everyone in my family is diagnosed with depression. My mom was diagnosed w/ bipolar disorder. I swear my dad and my aunt have mild paranoia. But they haven't been diagnosed with it.

I've been reading through several questions regarding Bachelor Parties and strippers and the resounding answer has basically been "Bachelor parties have the old fashioned notion that the guy has one last night to 'sow his wild oats'. If a guy is engaged, all his wild oats should have already been sown." and that basically, all that stuff should have been done before we started dating. My question is: Do you really expect people to act like they do in the movies (love at first sight) and know you are going to marry a girl once you start dating? Or is it that you "sow your oats" right before you propose? I feel that there isn't a clear line between simply dating, finding that you really like the person, and getting into a relationship. Its more of a gradual process as the relationship gets more serious. Isnt the wedding the clear line to say, "OK, I am yours forever"? Isn't that why bachelor parties happen right before the wedding?

I am currently a 19 year old boy from NY. I am so happy with me. I like who I am and everything about me. I eat healthy and excercise. I stand at the height of 5' 8" and weigh 128 lbs. I look like I am a 15 year old boy!!!!!!!!! I love my young looks. I want to stay a teen boy. I want my mom still to be there like she is now, she takes me to college in the am and picks me up each day at around 3. also tennagers dont have to pay bills, but hopefully ill be fine cuz my parents pay 4 my college and books n clothes and all other stuff. I'll Be 20 pretty soon. (6 1/2 months) - (4-14-08) An anyway, i don't feel ready 4 20, im like 15 physicaly and emotionally, an not really ready nor up for stuff like sex and stuff. I'm very sad and I want to stay a teenager for a while, what should I do?

You guys give answers. I have a huge proplem. I asked one of my friends to be my bridesmaids I moved out of the house we were living in to save money. Ok, well there is this girl that i was going to go out with during the summer but we both decided to wait for school since we would never see each other because we worked conflicting hours at our jobs. So anyway school started and i come to realize thats she's goin out with this other guy..that was strange.. so w/e i let them be, im not a jerk. yesterday i learn that they broke up, which is good news for me. but she's really upset right now so it sucks and i hate when she's sad. i just need some advice on what to do since she means so much to me since i have known her for 5 years and wish to start a relationship with her. I am a married woman of 12 years and was given a bunch of tests prior to the birth of my daughter. My DR gave me some other tests and when I went into the hospital to have her..he said that he had to give me a c-section because my results on one of the tests came back positive for herpes type 2!
I have never touched nor thought of another man! I am deeply religious and would never forsake my vows!
I have a son who is ten by husband, but nothing showed up when I had him!
How could I get this if I have never been with another man except my husband?
He swears that he has never touched another woman, and i am so distraught after giving birth to my daughter.
Please help me.

we've been close friends for years...he's the type of guy that gets along with everyone but only opens up about his issues to one person...and that was me. Apparently he's liked me since then and i never knew until i fell for him this yr. He's never had a gf or kiss and we had a moment and were "together" for a little but decided to stop and be friends. Things were okay again until he lost someone close and thus he pushed me away. Drama and miscommunication happened but we're okay now..or at least i thought we were.

We just hung out 2 weeks ago and everything seemed fine. I called him up and we talked for a little and now, if i call just to see "what's up", he won't answer. Don't know if he's just busy or tired...i'm getting worried...what if he's got a "new friend" now that he talks to about things? What's going on?

Okay I met my now fiance's brother before I met him and when we first meet we were talking and then lost contact but it was never going to turn into a relationship but then years down the road I meet my now Fiance and after dating for about a month I found out that that was his his brother but it didnt bother me at all and now 2 years down the road my Guy are still together and wonderful but I just found out that his brother is getting married and I was nominated to help plan everything and for some reason it is bothering me dont get me wrong I love my Fiance with all my heart and soul and would never leave him but can you tell me why I feel this way about the wedding.
