my brother has a girl friend I realy dont like and Im afraid hes going to marry her and I just dont want her as my sister-in-law. I have tryed to like her, she just seems to want to movin on the family and that bugs me. what do I do?

Gah I had the same situation, actually just got off the phone with the "Sister in law". Ugh, All I can say is that to guys sex is better then any brother-sister relationship there is. Well that's what my brother's actions are. She moved in, I moved out, there married and just had a baby. I dont call her, she calls me, I keep it short and ....well just short. All you can do is put on a fake smile and just avoid the situation as much as possible. For me I lost my brother and didn't gain a sister in law. Hopefully the same wont happen to you

She is still trying to make an impression on the family. One day she will have to be the REAL her. Maybe that won't be pretty. Then again, maybe you will end up loving her like a sister. After all, most people can't stand their own sisters some of the time. Just pray for peace amongst you, and try to be fair in your judgements.

Its hard but you are going to try and make it work with her, Your brother found love and not to like her is going to put a wedge in between you and your bro.
Your brother See's something in this woman and may want to shar his life with her and maybe have kids....The best thing to remember someday you may find love and you hope the family will all try to get along with your boyfriend...LOVE IS SO STRONG...

get to know her for the person she is, and not for the fact that she is stealing your brother away from you and the family.
get to the root of the problem as to why you don't like her, and try to have her do the same if you feel the feelings are mutual. being open and honest will always help.

Give it time ,He will see what you meen after a year or two , and the devorce will be on its way ,, over 50% of marrages end in divorce in short order , way over , something like 1 in 10 are smoked in just over a year,

nothing, it is your brothers decision, but when it comes to family gatherings? just don't go near her! it can be done, i had the same sister-in-law (almost) my brother didn't marry her at the last minute because his eyes opened.
don't eliminate your brother because you don't like his girlfriend.
don't ever make your family choose between family and their significant others. family rarely wins

You haven't stated why you don't like her. Perhaps you don't understand why you don't like her?
Can you quantify why you dislike her as much as you do?
If you cannot? Then your emotions remain in your ownership only. If the rest of your family gets along with her, and if you still cannot clearly state to yourself or anyone else why you dislike her, then you're probably better off to accept her.

Just ignore her. As much as it kills you because she is your brothers gf. Thats just it; shes your brothers girlfriends. Just go with his wishes and if it bothers you that much talk to him about it. You have to have reasons not to like her. Good Luck <3

I think my sister feels the same way as you do. If you're my sister, don't worry. I don't plan on marrying her any time soon!
