Ok, well there is this girl that i was going to go out with during the summer but we both decided to wait for school since we would never see each other because we worked conflicting hours at our jobs. So anyway school started and i come to realize thats she's goin out with this other guy..that was strange.. so w/e i let them be, im not a jerk. yesterday i learn that they broke up, which is good news for me. but she's really upset right now so it sucks and i hate when she's sad. i just need some advice on what to do since she means so much to me since i have known her for 5 years and wish to start a relationship with her. Please dont respond with "don't worry about girls! focus on school!!" i dont want to hear that since im in the top 5 of my class taking all college courses as a junior, so i obviously dont need help in those regards! thanks for the help

Take her out, show her a good time. What she needs right know is to forget the other guy. If you tell her how u feel she might not feel the same way.

Just be a friend, so that she knows that she can talk to you, and she'll develop a trust. If you are college bound in a couple of years, then you need a girlfriend, but without any complications. In time you both may drift toward other people, but for now, just be a friend.

You've just got to try to be her friend. Try hanging around her and she will realise you're a really great guy. Probably she needs a little bit of time to recover from her last breakup. If you dont give her this space, then you could end up being her 'rebound' guy! If something is going to happen it will. So seriously, you just have to be patient. Best of luck!

be there for her, support her and help her as fast as you can, she will relize that you are there for her, tell her she's beutifull and lead up to asking her out
then once she heals continue and ask her out, good luck =D
