well, the other day my friend commented a picture on myspace saying i was gorgeous. whenever i tell him something that happened regarding a guy, hes always like 'well your really hot and nice and stuff, i dont know why he wouldnt like you.' no guy has ever called me gorgeous before, so i dunno, i could really be over reacting, but do you think he likes me?
oh, also, ive never met him in person.[friend who lives cross country now introduced me to him online in march.]

Have you been talking with this guy since you met? Otherwise, how can he like you when he doesn't know you. I would say he likes what he "sees". We all enjoy someone who looks nice and wouldn't mind paying them a compliment, but it doens't always mean we want to take things further. If you don't know this guy and he really doesn't know you, then just take it as a compliment and nothing more.

I guess he kinda liked your pics, but I wouldn't say he likes you for sure. You need to really get to know each other through direct contact to know that. It's easy to think you're interested in someone online. I used to have a new online crush every other week because people seem so great online.
Maybe you are gorgeous. Believe it for yourself, though, not based on if a guy says or doesn't say it. Compliments are great, but wait to see if he compliments anything else worthwhile about you.

I'm not that cute and I've been called gorgeous even by strangers... but the part that does hint that he might like you is 'well your really hot and nice and stuff, i dont know why he wouldnt like you.' but then if you never met in person, it's very different. why don't you just ask him? he's far away anyways. good luck.

I call my guy friends SPICY and SEXY all the time... it's just for laughs ... and just being friends by joking around! It makes them know your their friend and stuff ya know? But... I don't think i've ever heard a guy say GORGEOUS to a girl unless they were dating... so maybe he likes you.. just ask! And when he said I don't know why he wouldn't like you.. he was probably just trying to cheer you up.. like a good friend should do!
If he starts talking to you A LOT then that's most likely a sign he likes ya... or if he asks to go somewhere or meet..

Yes. He likes you. Or he is gay(my gay guy friends tell me I'm gorgeous all the time). Your next move should be to try to get more depth from him other than "you are hot". Does he like your personality, think you are funny, love your style, etc.? And by all means, revel in the glow of your hot gorgeousness!

I don't want to ruin your happy thoughts, but really question everything on myspace and other sites like it. Remember the purpose of those sites, for most people is to be someone they are not in real life.....so don't take anything personal to serious.

well it sounds like he's trying to 'get in'. theres always something a bit.....dodgy, or creepy (i dont know if thats the right word) about meeting someone online. how can someone like you over the internet?? the chances are he saw your pic and thought you're attractive, but to like someone is a bit different and makes more sense when it happens in person.
