My friend is 18 and one of her frineds asked her to be the maid of honor at her wedding. My friend doesnt know if she has to throw her a shower and a bachlorette party or what?!
And if she needs to throw her a bachlorette party.. what are some ideas that she could do for a party.
Note: Both my friend and the one that is getting married are NOT yet 21 and neither drink anyways.
We live in MN and its starting to get cold out here.

We are already receiving wedding gifts. Our wedding is next month. We pre-ordered our thank you cards with our invitations, so they say Mr. & Mrs..........on them. Should we wait until after the wedding to start sending out thank you cards?

Let me explain a bit here... I am going through alot now in my life. I have not been able to find employment in almost a year, and I am 47 years old with a wife and daughter whom I love very much! But, everything I seem to do, or anything that happens to me, even the smallest things, right now really set me off!! And its not that I hit my wife or daughter.. NEVER! I found out yesterday that my boyfriend has an account on fling.com, a site that people go to for sex. When I asked him about it he said his friend told him about the site and said that chicks they grew up with were on the site and he just wanted to see the pics. However when I went to him profile, he indicated that he was 8 inches and wanted to make people *** and that he was looking for a good time. He said he only put that stuff because you have to make the profile believable. Well I think he's lying, but to make me feel better he deleted the account, now he's trying to turn it around like i want to sleep with someone else and I'm using this as my excuse.

What do you think?

We been living together for a year and we get along great except for the temperature. We have always disagreed about it but it's started to really bother me. 1st of all I thought we should leave it on 72 all the time but that was too cool for him so we decided on 74. So I never messed w/it until I would get so hot & when I would look at the temp it would be on 80!!! Anytime he gets chilly he turns it to 80. He only wears shorts, no shirt, socks, etc. I wear a pair of shorts & a tee shirt (I don't want to walk around naked). I tell him if he is cold, put some more clothes on, he tells me to take some off. We never really "argue" about it, when I am hot, I turn it back on and he doesn't complain, he only says I am freezing him.Like last night, I went to shower & iron my clothes & he turned it to 80....well I turned it to 70 & told him I was hot ironing and stuff & told him that's why our power bill is so outrageous the way he turns it up & down. What can we do to fix this? THANKS!

Last Friday night we went out and my wife got really drunk they were giving away free shots.

She started talking to this new guy their, she was talking really close and serious to him and when he asked her where something was she took him by the hand and showed him.

So he kept asking her stuff to keep her interested.

I could see she was really being motherly to him but he was starting to think that she was after him and really started to hit on her.

I stepped in and told him to take a hike.

She got mad at me and said I was spoiling her fun.

this guy im sort of into, we talk all the time, but mostly online. we are really close and know everything about eachother, but there is this whole side of him which he refers to as this 'barrier'.

This stuff he feels he cant talk about. People outside school he will talk about it with, but he feels that he cant trust people in school for some reason.
I dont keep on at him about it, I know that won't help. All I can think to do is just keep being friends with him and being there for him.
He says that maybe eventually I'll take it down brick by brick, but I was wondering if I was going about it right and if theres anything else I can do?

when a guy says you're pretty, does that mean you're just ok looking? i had a guy stop me the other day, but i told him i was married, and he said "oh im sorry. you are just so pretty i had to stop and tlak to you". i didnt know guys still used the word pretty, i thought they said "hot" or "beautiful". so if a guy says you're pretty does he not think much of you? or am i reading too much into words

p.sdont get me wrong, im very grateful for the compliment:) just wondering why a guy would say pretty, since its not very common

i been married 27 years, was very in love at first, i noticed a red flag in that he was verbaly abusive, but i thought it would go away, and even now it has still been there, his abuse killed the love and passion i once felt for him, i now realize that i dont and never deserved that. except now i cant leave him, he is alot older, i feel responsible and that he needs me because he is older and has basic medical conditions, but i feel i want to be there for him when he needs me for his health. Ok, so I have been with my boyfriend for about a year and a half. We see each other on a everyday basis, we have a good sex life, and basically get along really well. We don't argue. He is 25, he works 2 jobs a day, the boy is determined. We don't live together but spend the night together 3 outa 7 nites. He says he loves me, but still hasn't said "i love u" it seems like now he has waited so long to say it, he thinks its too late. why is it that i cant get him to truely commit and to take an innititive to do something for me, plan a date for us, take a small trip. Hello everyone. Please share your kind thoughts. I have a Wedding in December 4 days before Christmas and my Wedding theme represent Christmas however, I would like just a few items to decorate my wedding for Christmas and not to have my Wedding day an over killed so that my quests doesn't think they are at a Christmas Party not my Wedding.

I am going to court in three days asking the judge to let me re-locate with my children, I am so nervous. I left my ex-husband one year ago because of his addiction to pain killers. He has since got fired from his job and got injured, so he collecting disability and takes oxy-contin, and just had his girlfriend arrested for domestic violence. I graduated from a trade school, got re- married and landed a great job where I will be living and I have my whole family around me. He lives in a city alone with no family and he wants to keep kids since he is home injured. I have offered to drive kids to see him and I only get 40 more days a year with them, but he said no, and now were going to court. What do you think the judge will do?

P.S. I have an attorney and hes representing himself. I have primary physical custody now.

I'm a very jealous person when it comes to my fiance. It hurts me because he was the first guy I ever had any sexual experiences with, yet he's had many before me. When he tells me of his ex's I get very jealous because they all had perfect bodies. I am 19 years old, 110 lbs, and I have A cup boobs. His ex's were beautiful with C cup boobs. It just makes me feel so ugly compared to them and I get uncomfortable in bed with him. I always think that he compares my ugly body to their beautiful bodies. It's to the point now where I started taking breast enlargement pills and became very depressed.

I just wish I could overcome this jealousy, because it's tearing me apart and making me hate myself.

their kids if the kids know they won't get a beat down or a backhand?? kid mentality is about avoiding PHYSICAL punishment. they never care about what they do only that they got caught which is why their apologies are meaningless. once you give them a yard they take a mile. it's this liberal mentality that is to blame for the state of kids today. my sis and and I grew up old school and it's why we didn't do anything out of line. we got the backhand when we DESERVED it and we knew we did. it's not abuse it's DISCIPLINE. what do the rest of you think??
