My best friend is dating a guy right now & Friday night his ex-girlfriend came over while she was there. My friend got pissed and left. I called her later on that night after fighting w/ my BF to see where she was & she was upset.
Since she was so upset and didn't know if her guy's ex was still there I took it upon myself to go over there and make sure nothing happened. (I was very drunk at this time BTW) I ended up drinking there and trying to talk to this girl. All I remember is attempting to kick her *** after she called my friend a **** and then trying to talk to her. People told me I took pictures w/ her and that I was "buddy buddy" w/ her??

Now I feel awful. I feel like I cheated on my best friend by being nice to her when all I wanted was to know why she was there in the first place. To see if there was still something going on.

What do I do to show my friend that I still have her back.

P.S. If you're going to leave negative comments - don't comment at all.

Today in school, i needed to collect my bag so as i was walking i saw 5 girls coming down the stairs and i saw 1 girl instantly look at her friend (as if to say - Oi LOOK!), then look at me with a smile. I smiled back and she looked away. Then as i was walking up the stairs, i saw her look back at me with another smile.

Was she flirting with me ?

Let me explain, women desire for their husabands to love & cherish them. Lets say a husband is doing things unintentionaly that upset his wife to the point she explodes at him saying mean and belittling things. However, she still wants him to love and repect her. Will she ever think,"Crap, what did I do? How could I have said those things, now he'll think I am a witch and not love me?" Or something like that?

when we started out back then." I always like that song by Jim Croce. Do you ever think about the plans you made when you were first married and what happened to them? Often the planning and dreaming is far sweeter than the results.

They are our neighbors and our friends. It's the second marriage for both so they aren't going to register anywhere. I figured on cash for the actual wedding, but what's a nice "Congrats on your engagement" present?

I've been with my boyfriend for 6yrs and we bought a house togther about 6mths ago. I'm 27 & he's 32. He's a really good man, but it just so boring at this point. Everything is such a routine. We commute togther a few days a week beucase live far and work close to each other. There is a guy in my college class and I am attracted to him. He is very intelligent and knows what he wants out of life. Were my man doesn't really have any big future plans. Since I go to school he think's I'm gonna be the bread winner. I love my boyfriend very much - does anyone have any advice to makeit better? Should I persure this other guy. I know that he would take care of me.

Here is how it goes...
She is married, he is married...they are work colleagues...somethings' is in the air...nobody knows exactly what, but whenever together time passes by quickly and both of them cannot let go..simple as that. There is nothing intimate between them, nothing at all, just some intensity..however....
All of a sudden he changes his attitude towards her, he ignores her, he cannot or just won't look at her, they do not even speak any more..with no explanation or whatsoever...he just started acting as a completely different man, meaning he talks with everyone else but her.
How can she find out what in fact happened, or just make him tell her what is wrong..just to clear things up, for the sake of the good times??! And this without being pushy or annoying

And since I came back, he is talking but formally and also he is not allowing me to touch him, hugs and kiss from me are fine but no reply from his side.

He knows he was at fault then and bcoz of his mis-behaviour I went away.

Though I am playing cool, what more should I do so he feels comfartable and more attracted towards me.

Please only answer if you know and care to workout a relationship, I don't want any answer to break it.

We both want our relationship to work out.

Thanks

I have a friend (he can't decide if he wants to commit) who always has to be right because he is the man. In our life time I have experienced more than he has, I am raising a family (3) children, a home and he has a roomate, and no children. He is a good man but we bump heads all the time.Do I have to be quiet to be happy??

Here's the situation - a not-so-close friend is planning a surprise birthday party for his wife. He called my husband yesterday and told him to tell me to bring a certain dish (which takes a lot of effort to prepare). Apparently, he has been calling everyone I know and asking them to bring different things to the party.

My question is - is this an acceptable practice? To plan a surprise party for your spouse and then make it a potluck???

(I'm feeling a little ambivalent about this because my birthday passed just a few weeks ago, and I didn't even want to prepare food to throw myself a birthday party.)

Please give me your opinion.

Thanks.

Well, there is this guy that I danced with. and he is really
nice. But, well, I am kinda popular, and he is well, way down there on the social ladder, and I know this is really shallow, but I don't want people to think that I am desperate because I am going out with someone that is lower than me on the social ladder.
Yea, even my closest friend is telling me that it will bring nothing but heartache, but I still like him, and i still want to be with him, and I don't know, he seems really sweet.
But my bff told me that if hes as sweet as he seems, he would understand. We come from two whole different worlds, but I don't think I would mind.
The thing that gets me is the way people would talk. I guess we could keep it a secret, but I am not that type, I like hugs and I like being able to talk between classes.

So, my question is. Do I go out with the guy, or hide my feelings and wait 4 someone else.

Very funny (as in humourous)
Successful

I recently started an affair with a man that I have only recently met. When I met him i found out he had children with his girlfriend but they had not been together long. I had been going through a break up with my boyfriend and father of my children after he cheated on me.
I found the man very sexually attractive and started flirting with him. We ended up having sex after about a week of knowing him and it was amazing. So I did it again. after the third time he casually tells me he's acctually getting married. So I think, ok so his lady had a baby, thats bound to put her off sex and he's just getting it out of his system before getting married. Neither of us are interested in the other, in a relationship way, and since I have started a new realtionship but my new boyfriend lives in france. And whenever the man suggests something i just can't say no. I have called the affair off after seeing him out with his family. but i don't know for how long...

Have any of you married someone that your parents did not approve of? Or that your parents just couldn't stand? How did you work past that? How are you working past that?

I know what I think it should mean. I was just explaining something for my boyfriend and his mate - more for his mate's benefit, about a course I'm doing. My bf doesn't like me doing it - he's entitled to his opinion. But he started spouting off and I just gave him a look - kinda rolled my eyes and smiled, and he went all serious and told me to stop being disrespectful. I said I wasn't being, because I wasn't. He was just being overly sensitive. Anyway, he's disrespected me many times, esp. when his friends are around, but I've let it slide. So I pointed this out. He told me 'it's different though isn't it'. Why is it different? I got the impression he meant because he's a man. Anyway, I tried to continue my explanation, and he told me he didn't want to hear it and to shut up. I then pointed out HE was being disrespectful. He said 'you reap what you sow'. How rude is that? I'm really angry, he shocks me sometimes - his attitude just screams that he thinks of me as his 'b*tch'.

I dated this guy whose parents were swingers. After many years of practising that lifestyle they divorced. The guy was very nice at first and all that , but he started acting strange .He kept saying that his family was weird and one thing after the other he wanted to have time alone. As naive as it sounds I didn't even know what swinging was, but for people that are out there could you please explain the psychological issues on their kids. Thank you
