Hello everyone.
My daughter is 20 years of age.She is a full time manager at KFC mind you she is a student studying cosmo something and I am a bit concerned she drinks like a beast with her boyfriend and I just found out he is 32 years of age and smokes a dearly amount of pot, Now my daughter has a few medical issue's (meaning she is a bit delayed ect..) and I have approached her in a proper manner and she responded to me in a foul manner.I have prayed to the lord several times and I am very hurt by this situation. Also I did not snoop through her stuff but I found a folded paper on the ground in the kitchen I picked it up and found it was a positve pregnancy test with a letter from that loser boyfriend..He stated he did not want the child and she better protect herself and to get rid of it..How can I reach out to my loving daughter without pushing her away.? Should I pound on his door and tell him like it is with the letter? I feel he is taking advantage because of her med issues.

everytime he shower, twice daily, his two year old daughter showers with him as well, is it normal or right to shower especially nude, with your child, daughter, from when they were real small to 2 1/2 years old? I never showered with my father and never seen him nude so maybe why this might sound strange to me? But these days you never know? I would be grateful for some feed back from all points of view!

Just got it and put it together, the waterpump only sends the water out in a trickle - of course the photo on the box looks like its gushing. It doesnt even make that wheel turn, wondering if its suppose to. Have tried new batteries also, and have an email out to step2 customer service.

first i have to say they were both drunk and over for the De La hoya fight...but these 2 guys are 23 & 24 and made fun of my 13 yr old son for having his hair a little longer then what they think guys should have it. My son is a skater and likes his hair long...he keeps it clean and combed and looks really nice with it long. But they wouldn't stop teasing him...it was little at first but then they started saying he was gay and i could tell my son was upset ...and thats when I went NUTS!! I yelled at them and said get out of my house! and they left.but the next day neither one of them even attempted to come and say SORRY!!! so my question is should i IGNOR them and never invite them over again? Maybe keep a Grudge for awhile to make them realize that it WASN'T right to tease?

These 2 guys have alot of NERVE too! ones an ex Heroin Addict and the other is a big time Drug dealer that acts like hes NOT!!! They both have kids that might experience the same verbal abuse they gave my son!!

I posted a question earlier, everyone seemed to say that I shouldn't confine a two year old to his room, when he's being naughty, if I can't spank him or let him have a time out- two year old don't stand still in a corner, what should I do for punishment??

I noticed every monday, my 2 year old son's behavior changed drastically, after spending time with his father over the weekend. He spit out food from and purposfully step it all over the house today, I suspect this comes from our parenting differences between me and my husband. For example, I locked my son up in his room for being bad yesterday, and my husband let him out, just when I step out.
I know he's trying to play the nice guy or being his friend by doing this, but it's making me look bad. Is this parenting working??? we're planing to put him to daycare soon, the way my son acts, I'm afraid he'll get beat up in someone's house.

Okay here is the situation a male aquantance of mine also my sisters ex.bf who has a girlfriend for about12 months they were friends before they started dating so you would think the relationship was strong but she is possesive uses his cell more than he does, keeps track of everything, and practically lives with him .Anyway he has cheated on her with his ex.gf my sister 3-4 times. My sister is a very sweet/ nice/book smart but naive person(she is still in love with him)! he was her first love and everything else.He told her not to call his cell knowing she would anyway plus he always calls back.To top matters of the last time they had sex did not use a condom she is on the pill but is very forgetful about taking it.She does not understand that his gf would come after her and hurt her if she found out!She also acts like pregnancy will never happen to her !How can i talk to her about this in a way she would listen? She is 18 but very immature.

my mom is an alcoholic. when i lived with her she would ask for my money all the time to buy beer. my brother has just recently moved in with her (he's 17) as my dad is no longer able to care for him. My brother just got a job working at wal-mart and my mom decided that she's going to start charging my brother rent. She said that she's doing that to teach him some responsibility so that when he's 18, he doesn't get so shocked at the real world. She told me to mind my own business, but i'm worried that she'll just take his money and drink it away. Is it my place to worry? Or should I mind my own business? what do you think?

Hear me out before you answer...

I know in society a lot of emphesis is put on letting your kids know you care, and there should be. But is there a point that you can make your kids weaker, or in need of constant approval or affection, by showering them with TOO much love?

I love my son to death, but I am a little concerned that if we tell him we love him 50 times a day, like we do (even when we are punishing him), he is going to end up being too needy in adult relationships when he gets older.

Any thoughts on this?

You all answered with yes it annoys me when toddlers throw tantrums, it is unacceptable,. alright then geniuses tell me your magic way to make them stop, imagine you are smack in the middle of shopping, your trolley is almost full, and all of a sudden they ask for something, you say no, they start screaming and carrying on, What do you magicaly do to make them stop.
And ignoring them isnt an option because you have all said how inconsiderate it is to just let them go.

My daughter is 10 yrs old alot of times seems just clueless. I spent the day with her and her friends and they seemed clueless. I couldn't tell if they were playing dumb, because it was cool or heaven help them it was real. I remember at 10, I was responsible, cooking, cleaning, and watching my younger sisters. They seem not to know anything about anything. They giggle, gossip, know clothes brands and think they know boys. But to ask them a question, they get this blank lost look. Even asking something like "What do you want for lunch"? produced blank confused looks. Does anyone else notice this, in this generation?

ALOT. me and my mother in law hav spoke to him about what he'll do when Lilly's here, but he thinks he'll b fine to smoke in the house still. his arguement was "i only smoke rollies, they're fine" which...well aware they're not!! anyway, i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how we can get him to smoke outside? or in a room with a closed door like the conservtory? he's been smoking since he was about 11 and he's now 58, theres no chance he'l stop.

Does anyone else think that the parent were irresponisble? I feel very sorry for them. i cant begin to understand how they must be feeling and i hope that maddie is ok and i returned home well. and i also hope this teache her parents, and other parents a lesson.

Am only a teenager but i would never ever concider leaving any child alone, even if they were 10-14 years old. i cant understand why they left them all alone, especially when there was an over night baby sitting service in the actual hotel.

At the minute i am on work experience in a childrens nursery and i see how easy it is to get attached to the kids. i could never ever leave one on their own and i dont know how their parents , who were both doctors and should no better, could acttually leave their child. They say they checked the kids every half an hour but i doubt that very much, and even if they did, it still happened and half an hour is long enough for anything to happen.

My sympathy is with the family.comment x

I may just be being nit-picky or hormonal (I'm 8 months pregnant)... my toddler's name is Sienna. My husband's side of the family are huge on nicknames and we all call her Si-Si. I think it's cute, but JUST a nickname. I primarily call her Sienna and my husband/his fam call her Si-si. On every single holiday card, letter, or keepsake from his family... they write "Dear CeCe" or "CeCee", which just annoys me because it's not her real name or even close to the spelling, and makes me want to throw away the card. Am I just an overly-bored and hormonal pregnant girl or would this irritate you?

what are the reasons?? don´t start about STD´s please, that doesn´t have to do anything to do with marriage...what´s wrong with having sex within a long-term loving relationship??? I think waiting with sex until mariage can cause people to rush into marriage and marry the wrong person...there should be a minimum of time of dating before getting married to avoid this...and how do you kno you are right for each other if you have never lived together before??
