is there a better scenario i can tell him like a dinner or at the park or in closed doors etc...
should i bring it up in a joking matter or serious? please only serious responses

I would love to give you a serious response if you will let me know what you want to know "how should I tell him."
Your in such a panic, you left out the problem. No matter what the problem is, you should never be in a relationship with man who puts you in such a state of mind.
So my answer to you is don't give a damn what he thinks, and do what you think is best for YOU.

One assumes that you are pregnant. If you are - don't bring it up in a joking manner. That little life inside you is depending on you both. Have the laughter, fun and joy once you have established that you are both happy and looking forward to the birth.

tell him what? about your parenting skills? if you're talking about the fact you are pregnant, then it all depends if this was on purpose or not.
