We are going shopping today and I'd like to buy a new music cd for my 17 month daughter. Just curious to see what others enjoy.

I paid for my daughter to take driving lessons, but she says she's in no hurry to drive. Is this normal?

Maybe this is guy and girl thinking...

If a girls car is broke she wants sympathy and a chat and someone to listen, give her a hug and somehow let her fix her own car or some crap like that.

Guys want a mechanic to fix their car so they can carry on driving, maybe pimp it up so goes faster.

Hence councilling aint all that much use in fixing the emotional probmes of say guys at least as does not follow the mechanically fix car principle.

Ie in earlier posts.

if girl cant pull and all lonley get sexy clothes, sexy dance moves, teach how boys think & how to chat them up, same for guys only get them to be more cocky bad boy that girls like & maybe guitar lessons. Maybe a fireman course and expertise in chocolate making

Or something like that.

Ie something useful.

That solves the problem.

Once & for all.

But how the hell do you fix things when over a decade behind most people? bit difficult to catch up.

You cant exactly implant all the mems

I have been hit with other implements, including the belt, but none seemed to have equaled the pain I experienced with the switch. I suppose it was because it broke the skin, and I often would bleed. I think back on those memories as being very traumatic. How can anyone hit a little child in that manner?

I would appreciate for all parents to sit their kids down and explain the importance of life to them all, and moderately demonstrate how a computer can be a mislead in life.

I’ve noticed American children are struggling to grasp the meaning of ‘ THAN, THEN, YOUR, YOU’RE, SEE, SAW, SEEN, TO, TOO TWO, THERE, THEIR, etc, and I deliberately believe it is time for parents to buckle up and train their kids to type proper English....

Unfortunately, we can’t ONLY blame the teachers for our kids poor ability to write a non-erroneous sentence; parents MUST be implicated as well. I’ve seen many teenagers complaining about their boyfriends and girlfriends and how concerned they’re when havening been cheated on... Unfortunately, I haven’t seen anyone asking how can he/she solve this Math problem or correct this English sentence; everybody is so focused on boyfriends and girlfriends.

I was taught by my mother never to take a hit. Also never to hit someone first. She said if someone hit you man woman boy girl you hit them back twice as hard. I was in about four or five fights in elementry and junior high all not sarted by me. I got suspended or detention but i was not punished at home because i did not strat it. All the kids confrimed in the princpels office that they hit me first and that i was just defending myself . What do you teach your kids

We recently heard that a child that we pressed charges against is going to press charges against my son for harrassment. My son was attacked (this child came up from behind and clocked him, they were both suspended because my son tried to hit him back). It's a long story... but we pressed charges because this child has, for many years, threatened this and he scares me at what he might do again or to another child. The principal even lent that she thought something had to be done like that. I don't think he is stable. But I also think he makes things up to tell his parents for attention - like that people are picking on him. If my son ever said anything smart to him before, I am sure that has ended. We warned him over and over about contact with this child (since all of these events occurred), so I really don't believe he has "harrassed" him. I've never seen anything like that behavior before. Anyway, what can I do? This child has had anger management classes in the past... didn't work.

About four months ago me and my girlfriend (we are both 17) were having sex (we live together) and my 3 year old daughter walked in and caught us. We were embarrased and she was stunned. We were doing it on my bedroom bed, on the bed (not under the covers), and with the lights on so she saw everything clear. We told her we were cold because we were naked and we hugging to warm up. I guess she bought it because she has not mentioned it anymore. But has anyone else got caught doing it by your children? If so what was your excuse?

I'm interested in knowing what parents say to their pre-teens and teens about the WHY's about not drinking, drugging, smoking, and saving 'it ' for someone they love. Thanks.

Some parents think that if the child has consequences at school (detention, suspension, etc.) that they don't need to enforce any consequences at home for bad behavior at school. I personally do not agree with this (I think losing the car keys for a week has a lot more meaning for a teenager than a detention) but what do you think?

okay, my fiance is in jail. in our 2 year relationship he has been there 3 times (including this time). he has theft, sell and burgarlry on his charges. the 1time i waited a year 4 him, i really love him and he treats me really good without material things, it really feels like true love, at times. he always promises me hes gonna do right. the next two times i started to get suspesious: i would always hear different stories from people about him than from what he was telling me. basically i realized he was lying to me about a lot of things-everything. he had never been with another girl but he was messing with "non-legit things."-agian. this boy has powerful words that really make you think hes gonna change but after being dissapointed twice i dont believe anything he has to tell me. im gonna have his baby soon and i dont want him in our life at all-- hes promising agian with tears to be in the kids life--- what should i do???

This is absolutly sick. What do you think should happen to these people once they are caught. Jail is just not enough.
