Yes, this is perfectly normal!! My oldest son got his first two bottom teeth between 8.5 and 9 months old. And, didn't get is top two teeth for months later. In fact, he is just now getting teeth (at 32 months) that the average age is 20 months! However, my second son just got his first two bottom teeth at the average age of 6 months - just like the books say. Nothing is average with the development of teeth! Enjoy the fact that he can't bite with teeth yet. ;-)

Some babies are born with all their teeth. My husband developed an extra tooth that was in the roof of his mouth. weird huh?
I would not worry about teeth not coming in. Some babies wait late to have teeth come in. My son had none. Then , he cut 5 at the same time. It was horrible. I advise teething tablets. This was all at ten months old. So you are safe it is perfectly normal. If they do not come in after a year see a doctor or a dentist that specializes in kids.

My son didn't get his first tooth until he was one so i would have to say it's normal a whole mouth of good strong teeth.
The dentist actually told me the longer it took the stronger they would be and I believe it because my daughter got her teeth early and she has had cavities and also needs a little bit or orthodontic work but not a lot. My boy has yet to get a cavity.
I wouldn't worry about they will come eventually.

Totally normal. My daughter started drooling and chewing her fist at 3 months and I was sure she would cut a tooth. Well, at a year old she finally got her first one...lol. Don't worry, some kids take longer. There is nothing wrong with your son at all. And look on the bright side, he can't bite other children :)

My son was an early teether, he got his first tooth at 3 months old... but my friend's son is almost a year old and is just cutting his teeth. Every baby is different. It's perfectly normal.

Yup, totally normal. My 2nd child only got teeth when she was about 10 months old. I was so relieved when she finally got them - thought we waited forever! Don't worry - 8 months old and no teeth is fine!

its not normal, but its not irregular, either. every body is different, they will develope when they are ready. i'm 14, and my 8 month old sister already has six teeth, and more breaking through. don't worry, everyone is different. but if he continues to not grow any, i would ask my doctor
