it doesnt matter how many times you've dropped it, you are allowed to reopen it.

since you've already done it once, i am guessing you already know the deal and know how to do it.

I can't understand why a parent would "drop" getting child support. Even if it isn't needed at current time the money could be put away and used at a later date...say for college, or a car, or a needed operation. Child support is just that, it is for the child, if the mother doesn't need it that is fine because it's not for the mother. If you are recieving welfare and dropped the child support they quite possibly will come after YOU to pay back the welfare and impose a child support order on the child's father.

Take care of your kid. Get the order and LEAVE it till the child is 18. You owe it to your kid to take the initiative to get him/her what they deserve.

it depends on how much you need the money and how independent you are without him...it shouldn't be hard and it also depends on how much money he is making
