i have a wonderful daughter that is almost 15 months old, she has had some trouble since she was born, reflux, gaining weight because she was allergic to her formula, we finally got her back on track with that, it took her awhile to crawl, i wanted her to be walking at her 1 year birthday party but it didnt happen, she is almost 15 months, and everyone is always asking me"is she walking yet", and make comments like she should be walking by now, her doctor doesnt seem concernced, she can stand now, hold on to the furtniture and get around, i am just worried that i should be doing something or talking 2 a doctor, is this normal for a 15 month old girl??

Last night I let two little boy spend the night with my son.In the morning they all went out to play in the snow. While they was out in the snow one of the little boys moms pulled up and honked her horn and picked up her son.About 2 hours later me,kids, and my husband were going to my moms and we got pulled over. The officer said I had to go with him for questioning about the child that had just left my house. When I got to the police station the officer said that the little boy and his mom had reported that my son and his other friend had poured water on him and I locked him out and wouldn't let him back in the house. They was going to charge me with child abuse and negletic but can't due to proof. Can I do anything about these false aligations?

I have taken my sons pacifiers away today since he is 2 and a half now and already gettting a considerable overbite. Problem is he is miserable. All day long he has been whining and crying and wont take a nap or anything. How did you cope with this transition with your children? I feel like I'm losing it but I know I can't give in now.

I noticed a lot of women get into the mommy routine and give up on all of their hopes and dreams. Why? I love both of my daughters more than anything, but I want them to know they can be mommies and fulfill their dreams at the same time. I mean some women lose sight of their life goals, don't take the time to do anything for themselves. Have you done this? If you don't have kids, are you willing to give up everything you ever wanted to do for the kids you may have?

I had my daughter in April of 2006. Her father treated me so wrong during my pregnancy and now he acts like our daughter only exist when he wants me to pay him some attention. I have a job working for the hospital, I have my own apartment and I take care of my daughter alone. At times it hurts so damn bad inside. I just want to know, how to deal with it before I have a nervous breakdown.
Please help me!

I am a parent of a son and daughter. My son is 17 and my daughter is 8, this is about my son though.
I agreed to let him go skiing at our condos at the ski resort with his best friend, g/f and her friend. My wife and I are staying here though. She is mad at me for letting him go but I know he will make good choices and they are all 17. I mean he cuddles with his g/f at home here, and kisses her, so I trust him to have safe se.x.
Should my wife be mad at me??

Why is it that people insist that your a bad parent if your kids don't hate you. Ive heard dozens of people say that if your kids have never said they hated you then your not a good parent. Is it not all possible that you can raise your kids well and have them understand that the things that you do are out of love without them resenting you?

However, he does not take her to services, or hasnt done any rites or anything on her like his other kids have had. I dont know how i feel, cause we eat pork around here a lot. Should I stop feeding her pork?

I took the advice on going and visiting before I leave them w/ the new sitter. My four year old was fine. My 15 month old seemed OK. But now what if I go to leave and she cries? Then what? Go ahead and leave? I'm really torn up over this. I'm loosing sleep worrying about it.

My eldest is called Tao (pronounced Tay-oh), does anyone else's child have an unusual name and do they like it or hate it?
Tao is 13 and at the moment he hates his name because it is different.....but I'm sure when he gets older he will love the fact that it is unusual.

For circumcising my newborn son? My friend was over and she was watching me change Aaron's diaper (my son) and she noticed he was circumcised. She didn't put me down or anything, but she said how unnecessary and painful the procedure is and that I shouldn't of done that to him. That I've mutilated a body part of his for life that he can never get back, that sex when he's grown up is better with a foreskin, and on and on. I always heard it was cleaner and guys can get infections if they're not circumcised so I did it to him for those reasons. Plus I didn't want him to feel different around his peers, because hoenstly I saw one back in high school that wasn't and it looked nasty.

Anyway so does this make me a bad mother? What if he grows up to hate me bc I took the choice away from him? Does anyone have experience with this?

I was just thinking:

How would diaper checks be run in a daycare type of enviroment? Tons of kids, how would you know who made a mess, or if any of them made a mess?

How can they find who made the messy diaper?

I heard from an unreliable source that it is against the law and grounds for child's aid to supervise you if you have your child in your bed. I find it hard to believe, myself - can any one shed some light on the subject? (My baby is turning 1 in March and has been sleeping with me because I was breastfeeding since about 4-5 months.)

I have a 19 month old daughter
My ex didn't turn up for supervised access today yet again
He turned up to 1 in 4 visits,
I realised a long time ago that he was a nasty piece of work.
How can a parent not be bothered about thier child ??
I'd give up breathing for my kids
What lengths would you go to for yours ??
