You leave. That's the only way she will stop crying when you do go to work. She won't cry all day. She probably wont cry for more then 3 minutes. Don't stress it so much. They will be fine.

My wife was the same way. She agonized over leaving a crying child. The funny thing is, as soon as she leaves, the child stops crying! So hanging around and being worried was what made the children cry. Get out of there and let the children adjust and focus on something that makes them happy instead of focusing on their worried mommy!

You shouldnt be so torn up. If you trust your babysitter then there is nothing to worry about. It will be hard to leave if she is crying but she will stop shortly after you leave.
I worked in a Daycare center for over 5 years and we always had parents who had a hard time leaving when the child cries. Just tell your child that you love them, and you will be back to get them, when you get back remind them that you told them you would come back.."See I told you mommy would be back" It will take a few times but your child will come to realize that its ok for mommy to leave.
If you stay while the child cries it will get harder to leave them.
I hope this helps

From experience as a preschool teacher, ALOT of kids would cry on their first day. Sometimes the Moms too. More times than not, the child was fine, happy and playing with the other children within 5 to 10 minutes. Your children will miss you while your working, BUT its so good for them to have social interaction with other children. They will be fine. = ) Good Luck!

If they cry the best thing to do is just leave. say goddbye, cuddles and kisses and then leave.
You will probably cry but wait until they cant see you. If you hang around instead of leaving it will just make it worse on everyone.
When my daughter first went to preschool she cried and it was horrible having to turn and walk away. And hearing her scream.
So I started to stay and drag th emoment out longer. Finally one the teachers told me that she only cries for maybe 5 min after I leave and is then fine. But when I stay it upset her more.
So after that I would just leave straight away. So then she would only cry until she saw go out the gate and then would stop.
It will take a bit for them to get used to you leaving but they do get used to it. I think its harder on us than them. As they are distracted easily and will be playing. But we are stuck with the guilt.

If you know your kids are in good hands then yes, leave. They are fine and will get over you leaving really quick. It's better to break them of the 'mommy will always be around' habbit while they are young. Yes, us parents need some time away too. It's perfectly okay and healthy.

Kids are going to cry, Its a stranger., they usually to untill 5 minutes after you leave and they are usually fine. Don't stress yourself out, its your instinct, if you know you are leaving them with a good person then don't worry. They will be fine!! Good Luck!

Tell yourself it is okay if they cry. You are building their character. Studies show that parents who leave their children raise more independent, confident kids. If you always are there everytime they cry or if you come back when they cry and never leave, they will learn to be dependent on you being there at every call. -Not good for them to become an adult! It is harder on you than it is on them!! Leave and enjoy yourself!
