I am very spoiled. However, for some reason, some people think that is a bad thing.

i dont think it is bad i think it is a very good thing. i love being spoiled cause i dont even have to work for the stuff i want.

According to the facts, there are really no pros to being spoiled. Whoever happens to marry someone who was spoiled as a child, will have many problems with them.. That is one con and there are many others. A spoiled child usually has more problems in school and at work as an adult. They have got their way most of their childhood and want it that way most of their adult life.. They were raised to have it! They will be much more controlling of others around them; just to get their way! Their friendships will be much less diverse as they need those who will put them first. If you want to change the way you are raising your child, do it slowly, so they are not shocked by the change. God bless. Earl

If being spoiled means that you get whatever you want, no matter the costs, then there are no pros at all. You will grow up believing that you are entitled to anything that you want, even if you have steal it or stab people in the back for it.

I think it depends on what kind of spoiling you get. Being spoiled to the point that you have no emotional maturity or strength will cause you to be unhappy, lack independence, not be able to support yourself and be emotionally dependent on someone else for the rest of your life.It will cause you to be selfish and intrude on the rights of others with no regard to the consequences it has on them.Others will begin to resent and distrust you because of this.

well that depends are you spoiled by money or by love? If by money then it is a bad thing, due to the fact you've been deprive of learning several differnt import necessities in life to become a very special person
1.giving from the heart
2.morals
3.appreciation of a gift form some one
4. wrong and right way of shareing
5.how not to be judgmental on others and thier customs and religions.
6.compassion (spoiled by money prevents you from having compassion for others)
7.Jealous (spoiled by money) "I want one too daddy" or "Why can't I get one" "No get that for me now"
being spoiled by love, mean hugs, kisses being their for you at your sports events or school events going to dinner to gether or just hanging out together. your parnets share hornorable family memories of your nationality, or how they were punished for doing something wrong and punishing you for not behaving ( grounding you and takeing away your priveldges.

I am looking forward to these answers. I am spoiling my precious baby girl, because, life is hard and I want her to be a fighter/feel like she deserves good stuff.
I was raised the complete opposite. My great grandma came to visit with her rich boyfriend and he told me I could have any doll in the store I wanted and my mom said NO. I did not understand and felt awful. My mom said never ask for anything or accept anything from anyone, she really messed up my life. For my daughter, i want her to take life by the balls and shake everything out of it she can get!!!!!!!!!!! While still being a person with integrity, of course.
And as far as the real world goes, it's the screamers that get what they want while all the good boys and girls get to be rungs on the ladder!

it is a bad thing... the only good thing is that you get what you want, but once the real world comes around and you dont get everything it will be ugly. my lil sis is EXTREMELY spoiled and when she doesn't get her way she throws a tantrum. its horrible, and everyone besides her notices and think its bad. spoiled brats? its exactly what it is.
