pros- you're never alone, if something happens you usually have more than enough people to help you, really all the same pros as a normal family...
cons- again you're never alone, financial problems are sometimes an issue, there's usually always 2 or more members that aren't getting along at every given moment, siblings tend to gang up on each other in pairs (all the boys against girls, 2 oldest against youngest, or whatever it may be), normal sibling issues really.
i loved my big family when i was younger... i really love it now. i'm the youngest and 2 oldest brothers are sooo supportive of me. they help me through everything.

I have 5 little sisters. Growing up with them drove me crazy!! They were always borrowing clothes (stealing socks!!) and asking to be driven places. As well as just being annoying little sisters. Because I was the oldest, I was always the babysitter!

Now it feels like I am part of an exclusive club!! The baby sisters are now 16 and 18 and we are all so close! Hanging out with all 5 of them is so much fun!! I don't have girlfriends that I talk to the way I can talk to my sisters. We have no secrets and we never judge one another. Our mother is our 'Queen' and we all know the reason our relationship is so strong is because of her. Having 5 sisters is a blessing I am grateful for everyday!

And now... the little sisters are MY babysitters!!!

i only have one son but growing up i had 6 brothers and sisters, the fighting sucks but no matter how many ppl there are there is going to be fighting but the best thing about it was that if there was a problem and you needed to talk to someone there was always someone there and there was at least one of them who would understand, the other thing that sucked was the sharing thing with that many kids you have to like share everything unless your in the money well than that shouldnt be a problem, i personally dont want more then two kids but i enjoyed growing up in a huge family it was great

i have 3 bros and 3 sis...
PROS: **growing up was fun!! you always have someone to play with **you are never alone **christmas dinners are the best **if you did something bad you always have someone to blame it on! **when you need help, if one of them can't help you then you move on to the next! **there are just so many little things you enjoy when you have so many people around you!...

CONS: **some financial issues **hand-me-downs **if you do something wrong everyone is against you...

i guess i liked growing up with a large family, it is difficult at times, but it's beautiful!!!.. You never feel alone, you always have someone around you!!!!
