ok obviously i didnt make myself clear about the children behaving badly in stores. i am obviously only talking about the ones who do, if your not one of those parents that lets your kids behave that way then i am not talking to you .and i am not assuming all parents do it .

Like when it's below freezing outside and record low temperaatures are in place. Some teen kids try to turn up the thermostat and the parents say "Touch that thermostat and you'll be grounded for life."

My little brother (5 years old) is really wild and me & my sister had to babysit him.

First, he started to throw his toys everywhere and at us. Then, he started banging on the walls with a paperweight, putting marks on it. When we yelled at him, he threw the paperweight at my face and hit me in the head, and I was bleeding. I then got an icepack and bandage and had to sit down and my sister had to yell at him.

He then stole my icepack and ran around the house with it. He threw itout the window, and when I went outside to get it, he locked me in. My sister finally opened the back door for me. Then , after he threw a chair at my sister, we locked him in his room.

When my parents came home, we were cleaning up the mess. They then grounded us ecause the house was a disaster and my brother was locked in his room. He didn't even get in trouble.

How can I convince my parents that I did nothing wrong and that he should be punished?

Why are people so judgemental when it comes to teen mothers. Im not pregnant and i don't have kids. But i do baby sit a lot and when people see a teenage girl with a baby they are not exactly kind. One time some old woman actually told me i was going to Hell . Its suprising how critical people can be even when you are an adult you get criticised for being unwed or divorced.

I have an older child (10yo) to a previous relationship (her father commited suicide) & 2 young children 4yrs & 8 months to my current partner. I am so busy looking after the younger children that my daughter is forced to be independent on many occasions. I feel torn as she is demanding of attention (& i can't really blame her) but i just don't have the energy, time or motivation at the end of the day & just look forward to having some quiet time to myself. I feel like i'm pushing her away. I do put aside days & times each week to spend just with her. Can somebody tell me what they think about this as i'm feeling so torn & guilty.

Hey guys! let me use this medium to thank you all for your counsel to my last question, I think I'll have to believe my girlfriend and accept the baby as mine.
However, being young and new to this thing (I'm kind of inexperienced), and with no support, I intend sponsoring the medications and welfare of both the baby and the mother (my girlfriend), so please I'll welcome sugestions on the list of things to get ready for the baby's arrival and for the mum also, you can type many suggestions as possible, i mean items to get set.
Also, please who can advice me on what to do to grow taller and bigger as to meet my girlfriend's height, (yes she is taller than me). Though she is not bothered about that but I am, guys will understand. I do my exercise regularly and eat good food yet I'm so worried that I desire to measure up to her size, please help with some useful tips guys, especially now that I'm gonna be a father.
Remember that she is 27 and I'm 26. I hope to read response soon,Thanks

If you were in your seventies and a bad surgery left you confined to a wheelchair but you were still sharp in the mind, but you could not provide personal care for yourself nor live alone anymore, would you expect your kids to take care of you?

Also if you had three children and 1 took you into their home and gave up working to care for you for ten years while the others just made their token twice a year visits, and NEVER offered any respite to you so your caregiving child could have a break would you feel anger towards the other children?

Would it affect how you divided up the inheritance for your children keeping in mind if the caregiving child had not taken you into there home with the cost of nursing homes the whole estate would have been gone long ago anyway?

Just curious

When you told your parents or family members you were pregnant what were their answer or their re-action? How many months were you when you told them? Do you think your pregnancy or your child brought you and your family closer together or not?

I'm a proud mother of a little toddler, my husband tends to be out of town for work so its basically me and my little one. I'm a young busy mother thats going to college as well. My little one is pretty loud at times and I've heard people mumbling. One time at church a lady right behind us said, "I feel sorry for that child", just because my daughter was being a little too loud. I even heard a teenage boy behind us mumbling, "that child is annoying". But she's a toddler come on give me a break! Whats the deal with these people? When I go out mostly without my husband people give me this look. Can it be that I'm too young? Or they think I'm a single mother? Or my toddler is too loud? I do control my little one but that doesn't mean kids are perfect 24/7. What do you think? Have you been in this situation?

I have two daughters, one is a well-behaved teenager(karen) and the other is a wild third grader(carrie) who rules the house. She is very agressive toward her older sister. She completely refuses to going to her own room and is constantly aggravating and pushing all over my oldest daughters buttons. Even though Karen does her best to tolerate Carrie she is at that age to where she could use some alone time. Carrie also lies to me no matter if I stand there and watch her do it she still denies it. She watches a lot of tv, mostly disney channel, which she often imitates. She doesn't like to wash her hands and she puts everything in her mouth. I try hard to stand my ground when I tell her what the consequences of her actions will be but she doesn't give up so its much easier to give in. I am stressed out anyway with my job, all my husband's hospital bills, and doing everything else I do by myself. Plus Carrie feels the need to make everything so difficult. PLEASE HELP ME!!
