I've heard it is difficult to find childcare for infants - i only need someone a couple hours in the morning, but preferably at a daycare center. I've heard it is hard to find placement such as this - any experiences? I'm in northern colorado.

Try calling several daycare's and ask them if they offer part-time services for infants. You can try a local church they offer a mothers day out program. Or you can look up an hourly daycare as well. It will be pretty pricey since you have little one and spots are very limited, but if you look around I'm sure you'll find what your looking for.

It is hard, most day care centers only want full time children. You could call your local health dept & they can give you the number to 4-Cs & they can send you a list of liscensed home day care providers, most of them will do part time. That's what I had to do.

In South Africa it is not difficult at all. Maybe you should consider relocating, especially if you are considering having a lot of children.
