What do you think I should do...I was thinking either a winter wonderland theme or a movie marathon? What do you think would be better/fun for the girls. Any suggestions on games/food?
Thanks :)

Not a huge problem in itself I know. Part of life and all that. The trouble is he has been told he is to be a father of this girl's baby. He is confused and I am worried how this will all turn out for him. He usually handles tough situations by drinking way too much and also resorting to pot. How do I help him without being overbearing?

I am sorry. But, I felt compelled to ask this!
I read about so many people complaining about today's children not getting the discipline that they feel children need. Are we jealous because they now have more rights than we did back then?
Before, a parent could take the "easy-out" and smack their kid. (Really that's no work) Now, we actually have to take the time and "teach" our kids. Yes, it's harder. But please! When in history, has the easy-way, ever been the correct way?
I believe that we have back-talking, mouthy kids because honestly, look what we adults do. Are they not just guilty of coping us?

My step-daughter and her cousin did something wrong last month when her dad was away and when I questioned her about it, she lied to me. I did not beat her I just spoke to her about it and she was put on punishment. This morning I asked her a question and she lied to me. I asked her more than once because I knew she was lying and she still lied. I got so mad that I slapped her. Her dad thinks that I should not spank her because I am not her mother and he is trying to get his other daughter to live with us and if her mother knows that I hit her she may not let the other one come. Is it wrong for me to spank her or is it wrong for him to think that I should not spank her? He say I should tell him what she did wrong and let him deal with her but many times I tell him to talk to her and it never seems to happen. What should I do? If we divorce/separate I think it will be because of her.
We have a 7-month old and I do not want any bad examples to be set for him.

I'm an only child and have a little girl that i adore my husband would lke another baby but I am unsure as I'm worried that I would love and favour one child more then the other. As i have never had to share my parents affections i don't quite understand the threory of equaly loving more then one child. I would like other only children who have had more then one child to tell me if they favour one of their children more then the other or if it is equal

My adopted son who is 11, has a skin issue. Where we live its very cold and packed with snow. Ever since Winter came around my son has skin that feels very rough and dry, feels like it has no moisture in it.

I have gave him a bath every day but that has done nothing. His whole body is dry and rough like this, his arms, legs, thigs, back, just about everywhere.

Its not a different colour skin or anything. I am only 27 year old mother and I have no idea what I have to do with this, please give me some info.

You have a daughter who is 16 y/o. she is a very mature, clever and independent, she pulls her weight and helps out when needed she also always got good grades at school. She wants to move out and get a small place in the town you lived in when you where growing up, none of your family live there now but to you it is still home and your glad she’s picked that place to go to collage and to live. When you where living there you got the train back every so often to visit, and she will do the same

for one thing.. my 6 yr old brother and me is SOLID.
eventhough he is only my half bro, i still treat him as if he came
from my mom.. i am 17 yrs old right now, but i am not embarrased whenever im carrying him in public, i have been doing this all his life. that is because he wants it, not always but frequently. sometimes people even tend to think i am his father. but do you guys think it is time for him to grow up? i mean he'll be turning 7 in a couple of months and is it still appropriate if i still carry him like a baby? (but he will always be my baby bro even if he's like 21 lol) i love my lil bro!

I really want to have a baby, I'm 23 with my own home and have pretty much all I ever wanted. I am not really the monogamous type and have been considering asking my best guy friend to help me out, so to speak. I don't want anything from this person and it is someone I really care deeply for. I have no qualms about raising a child bymyself but if he wanted to be there that would be great but not really neccessary. Do you think it would be ok to approach him about it or should I not do it?

My son is turning 16, much taller and stronger to now, he's getting argumentative and really tried to hurt me, as I'm a single parent.
I belive that's a result of a divorced, he became dipressed since and blames me for his life. It just hurts me in some way.
Please share.
