Seems everytime the parent steps in she acts all annoyed and gives the silent treatment. Seems she can do no wrong. Is it possible to find a middle in all of this.

My older brother and I are in our mid to late 20’s. My parents also have my 2 little brothers at home, they are 8 and 12.

My mother had my older brother and I when she was 19 and 22. She was always outside playing with us and was a very active mom. We were never in the house sitting on our butts all day, she never allowed this!

My mother had my little brothers when she was in her mid to late 30’s. She has NEVER played outside with them. They just sit in the house all day and play video games, they don’t ride bikes or get fresh air. They also don’t eat healthy and now are overweight too. This has been going on since they were born!

My mother worked while raising all of us, but she seems so lazy as far as playing and parenting my little brothers.

Do you think this is because she was an “older” mom when she had my little brothers? She is now in her late 40’s.

He has both his two front lower incisors coming out, the milk tooth already fell out for the one that is coming out normally, the other one is growing behind the milk tooth and coming out at an angle.
Is this a problem? Will the milk tooth fall out naturally, or should I take him to a dentist?

The other day, I walked into my 9 year old daughter touching herself. Is it normal for them to do that at this age? Isn´t she just too young for this?

He added: "But behind a desk so it's safe and you get lots of fun; all the excitment and lots of gadgets to play with..."
Is that a career path I should let him consider, really?

I mean think about it. Some people are arrested for spanking their child. Others get away with beating their child day and night.

Is anyone else furious at this?

I have almost all of my daughers' toys put together and went tp put some in some in their room but I can't. They have too many toys in there taking up too much space. What should I do with those old toys? If I give them away, I'll deal with a mother in law that complains because she bought some of them. I can't keep them either. So, should I just give them away and tell my mother in law what I think if she complains about it?

hair dryer, because I didn't know she had dropped it in the sink. The thing blew up and shocked me. Should I be upset with her and tell her to never leave a wet hair dryer laying around again, or should I just go buy her a new one since it was partially my fault?

These two children do not even get along. They are constantly calling their mother (my coworker) at work over the smallest fights. I'm talking about 15 to 20 calls a day, maybe even more than that. My coworker has told me she can't handle her kids when they are together. Why does she leave them alone at home while she works? Should a situation like this be reported to child protective services, or would that just be stupid? It seems to me that these two children could end up burning down the house, or seriously harming each other.

Why do people smoke in a closed area with children or kids under 18? maybe smoking should be treated like any other drug and start handing out fines and jail time even if driving while smoking. cant drink and drive, cant use a cell phone and drive. so why not smoking?

I was cleaning up in my son's private bathroom the other day when he came into his room with his friend. I stayed out of sight and I couldn't see them but they were just hanging out. They wrestled around a little bit it sounded like, and then it got quiet for a minute. Then his friend said, "Hey dog, you wanna smoke my pole?" To which my son responded, "Not now dude, my dad is home and I don't want him to find out." The way my son sounded makes me very concerned.

I am a single mom with 1 son who is 13. Ever since the winter came around I felt he had dry skin on his entire body. Where we live the snow is packed and its very cold it, so thats probably what caused the dry skin. His skin almost feels like sandpaper its so bad.

I knew I had to get lotion, so I got Nivea Body lotion, its a new bottle easy to use and it is supposed to break down bad dry skin.

I give him short baths, and I tell him he has to apply lotion on his entire body after his bath right away. I only rub lotion on his back where he cant reach it.

But I noticed that the bottle of lotion is still just about full besides when I do his back, and his dry skin is still excatly the same and I found out he is obviously not even using lotion, his back has improved a little beacuse thats where I did it my self.

The next time I lotioned him head to toe and I thought after that he would want to do it him self. I don't know what to do anymore, please what I am to do?

My eldest son is 14. I have only recently started to let him off the lead to travel on a bus with his mates albeit he has to get the school bus, but this is different.

Anyway, he is mad skateboarder, i have let him travel to St.Albans on his own to go shopping and to the indoor skate park over there, but he had his friend stay last night and he has been to Bay66 in ladbroke Grove supervised, but he has wanted me to take him over there, i just don't have the spare time at the mo, anyway him and his mate were looking covertly on travel websites (i have just looked at website history) and i have a sneeking suspicion now that he has gone to Ladbroke Grove under the rouse he is going to st.albans.

Do i call the skate park in st.albans/bay66 and check up on him? Or do i sit here and churn and trust him?
