cool looking kids line, would you buy from it?
I am going to start a kids line (toddlers) and my goal is for everyone to be able to afford it and have there kids looks nice.
Everybody I have spoken to said this is a great idea and they liked it.
By affordable I mean under 20 bucks for an outfit.

Don't get me wrong, I love my kids (ages 9 and 4).
But I absolutely hate motherhood! I feel like a psycho for feeling this way, but gosh, there is so much I can't do anymore. I am just not into Barbie, Playstation, board games, cartoons. I would rather be out on the motorcycle with my hubby, shopping, riding my bicycle, dancing the night away, etc.
I am not a bad mother, my 4 yr old is smartest in her class. They are both well behaved (mostly!) healthy, and loved. I wrestle with them, read to them, play with them do all the things a mother should do, and I DO love them, but something is missing....I just don't feel the "mother instinct" that would make me jump in front of a train to save them.
Could it be that I suffered post partum depression with both of them and somehow "missed" something? Please don't tell me to get counseling, been there, done that. I've taken a parenting class read several books, but cant find anything except how great and wonderful its supposed to be.

How do you tell your best friends that their children are out of control and not just "being kids" as the parents put it Our house is literally destroyed within minutes upon their arrival, non stop whinning and the 4 year old brother and 6 year old sister physically fight with one another. Watching the way parents deal with them varies from making comments of 'see they dont' ever listen' to spanks. Is there a gentle way of doing this and not destroy a friendship?

Not trying to start a flame war or troll, I just don't understand some of the rules regarding adoption. I also don't understand, in general how the masses feel about this issue.

I have an eight year old and he seems to be having trouble making friends at school. He's a very quiet kid in school and isn't very social. What can I do to help him make friends? Or should I help him at all?

my 21 month year old son fights me on going to bed, and the only way i can get him to sleep is if i put him in his bed and shut the door, he'll run to the door cry for a little while and go back to his bed and fall asleep, i hate doing this, but thats the only way to get him to sleep, other wise he would be up all night long, my boyfriend works 3rd shift and i work second shift so if i let him stay awake til hes just to tired to stand i wouldnt get any sleep and i wouldnt be able to do anything the next day, once hes fallen asleep i do open the door, but do you think that im being a horrible mother for doing that?

Here's the scenario:

I had the day from hell. My kids 11, 5 & 3 have destroyed my house, fought like cats & dogs, literally swung from the doors of the entertainment center to jump onto the sofa, spilled my beads I use to do projects, tore up a role of t.p. in an attempt to make snow, dissected all of their Christmas toys in various places throughout the house & snuck food upstairs (which is forbidden) & smeared it in the carpet among OTHER things. With no time or energy left to cook we went out for dinner.

In the restaurant we were met with glares from other patrons watching my kids misbehave & scream & just be brats in general. What should I have done?

a) Let my kids continue their behavior, disturb other diners & give them non-effective verbal threats.
b) Spank them and have DFCS called on me.
c) Sent them to the car to sit within sight of me & been cussed out by another patron of the restaurant for being a bad parent for putting them in the car?

continued....

Let me preface this by saying I've had the day from hell. I know kids love winter break but it's making me insane. At least when my kids are at school for a few hours I have time to clean and get myself together. Today my kids destroyed my house. It was already messy from Christmas holidays when the whole family came over but they literally destroyed it. The toys they got were all over. One of them tore a roll of toilet paper into little pieces trying to make snow. My smallest one got a hold of some beads I use for crafts & opened them all over the floor. Every 10 minutes one of them is coming to the kitchen for something to eat. They sneak food upstairs and smear it into the carpet. As soon as I would clean up one mess I found another. I am at my wits end. I didn't have dinner cooked tonight so we went out to eat. My kids kept up their destructiveness in the restaurant. My 3 yr. old was climbing on top of the candy machines, my 5 yr. old twirling around while......

First off I would like to say that this is only a question and not an acusation. I feel that every one has the rite to chose how they will raise their children. That being said I was wondering How you as a non spanking parent would explain the rise in violent crime commited by children 12-18. I have heard it said that spanking a child leads to violent behavior later in life. And most of the children today will have grown up in the age of "time outs" And positive parenting so why is it then violent crime in this age group climing?

She's been at their home since Thursday. She just called me stating she wants to go home. I can't pick her up because I just put my car in the shop. Without ya'll knowing anything personal about us, should I feel guilty about wanting her to stay there until school starts January 3rd?
