I sometimes feel this way! I think it may come from feeling that you don't get enough help around the house, that you're constantly doing for them and not getting anything in return (no appreciation or consideration or thanks...even moms/wives need to be thanked!). It's hard being a mom/wife. Sometimes it can get to be too much!
Do you have friends with whom you can talk about this? Or a mom or aunt? Another female who'd understand.
Also, you need to take time out for yourself regularly, in order to 'recharge' your energy. Read, take a bath, listen to music, go for a walk, something on your own.
You are having normal feelings. Depression would include: hopelessness, lack of appetite, not being interested in normal activities, sleeping a lot, crying a lot.
Good luck!

You are not alone. Depression comes when we have unresolved anger. Anxiety is an offshoot of depression.
These days women live with so much pressure and responsibilities, sometimes have to survive without their basic needs being met (financial, affection, respect, etc.) and they can be overloaded with responsibility.
You may have some issues you are angry about (things that are not resolved or even things that it is not in your power to resolve) so at times you lash out at those closest to you because it is "safe" to do that. When the anger finds its outlet then depression sets in. Is that your experience?
I have 2 suggestions:
1) go straight to God Almighty and have a talk with Him. He will show you what you are truly angry about and He will help you with the solution.
2) if you feel you cannot cope properly, if you are experiencing physical symptoms of drepression and/or anxiety, think about seeing a dr for meds.
God bless you in your search for freedom!

I have this problem myself and I have seen a doctor, You probobly should talk to a doctor about your suspicions of being depressed, but I get this way myself and what really helps me is to have a trustworthy friend to talk to, vent to, it should be someone who will hear you out and be understanding, I have a bestfriend who I talk to when i'm feeling nuts with my husband or kids, and just talking to her and getting my feelings out helps me to feel better, sometimes she doesn't say anything she just listens and thats what we need sometimes to be heard, to release some of lifes aggravations. It also helps to find some YOU time even if it's only an hour away from everybody....Good luck, ok? It's gonna be ok.

You really should speak to your doctor. There are meds that can help you tone down those angry moods and make life so much more enjoyable. Don't be embarrassed, you wouldn't believe how many people have the same problem.

Do you resent them because you feel trapped? Talk to your hubby and tell him you need some you time. Do something by yourself or with a friend (no hubbies or kids allowed)
