cool looking kids line, would you buy from it?
I am going to start a kids line (toddlers) and my goal is for everyone to be able to afford it and have there kids looks nice.
Everybody I have spoken to said this is a great idea and they liked it.
By affordable I mean under 20 bucks for an outfit.

Absolutely!! Especially for boys. I would even pay more if it was cute and wouldn't fall apart or fade too quickly. Stuff from somewhere like Walmart does this. I typically will spend a little more at Gap or Childrens Place because I know it won't shrink or fade.

Loved the idea of the old Gymboree where everything in a line was mix and match so you could get a lot of outfits out of less pieces, and there were similar colors in 3 lines so you could get some solid tops or shorts and have a lot of options. They were expensive, but I loved how they let little kids be kids, not look like Brittney or like they were in a grunge band. I also like the idea of a complimenting or matching outfit that comes in all sizes and both boys and girls, so when you have pictures taken they look good. I have only found this at Childrens Place and I was disappointed that this years stuff looked EXACTLY like last years!

Email me if you get it up and running.

I am always looking for cool, cute reasonable priced clothes for my son. There is never any baby boys clothes and frankly some of the stuff made for boys are kind of lame. Like at the Childrens Place, what little boy wants to wear a powder blue sweater vest. Send me an email when you launch your line,I'll gladly buy clothes. Especially since kids grow so fast, you don't want to pay a ton of money for something they won't be able to wear next year.

Absolutely! I'm tired of picking up these different baby and parents magazines and all that's advertised are ridiculously priced clothes. But, even if you're not paying $100 for a pair of jeans for a 3 month old, you are spending a lot. Baby and children clothes are expensive! I think this is a brilliant idea and when you get it started, let me know! I'll be one of the first to buy!

Maybe try and add something more for boys clothing. Girls have all the pretty little frilly cute things and boys have.....jeans and t-shirts/sweatshirts. There's nothing really to chose from in the boys section that I have found. I have 2 sons and if there was something nice out there for them, that was affordable, I would buy it.

twenty dollars an outfit for me is not affordable for childrens clothing. As a young mom of one, I try to find the best deals possible. I guess you could say that I am pretty frugal. I try to shop clearance for uncoming seasons.

I hope that designing your own line is successful! good luck.

Then market it online - contact all the parenting websites for ads - you'll do great!
