No, everyone is allowed to be curious about babies. I'm guessing that you may have previously asked a question. You should go to add details on the question you already have. It saves people from confusion. Hope your child does well on her project.

No. You dont need to have your own. I would think it would be harder to decide what to feed a pet if you dont own one.
A child is a person. A person needs nutricious foods so thats what you give a child. However it depends on what age the child is because if they are really little you could risk them choking if you give them something they cant handle.
