If it gets to the point that the parent would likely be dead by the time the child graduates high school, there's something wrong. I've seen articles about women in their sixties trying to conceive, and I don't know why you'd want to. You won't be able to play with the kid and keep up with it, and you might be dead before you ever see the kid go to college, or the kid may never get to go to college because it has to stay home and take care of your elderly self, neither of which is fair to the kid. It shouldn't be government-regulated or anything, people should just use common sense and worry more about the well-being of the child than trying to get into the Guiness Book of World Records.

Yeah, like middle age (ya know, after 40) probably isn't the best time to be starting a family. But I dunno, some women do and love it. I'm 30, I've had 3 kids, I am not having any more. Ever. I'm glad that when I'm 40 my youngest will be like 11. That'll be pretty cool.

Most definitely, nothing makes me madder than seeing a 50 year old with little kids. It's not that I think they are terrible people, but I don't feel that they can do physical activities with their children. I mean would you want your parent at your high school graduation walking with a walker? So I think no later than 40.

Some should never have any at any age and some should have them until they can have no more. Just as age does not matter when it comes to marriage, age does not matter when having babies are concerned. As long as the person is not moody, grumpy, and is content, age is not a factor.

probably for most people around 40, but it depends on how many kids are suitable for your financial stability. I don't suggest more than three, unless you have the money.
