i just got my betta today and i have a fake turtle in the tank that he keeps flaring at i dont want to take it out will he get used to it or do i need to take it out?

the betta is a dark blue with a little tiny bit little like a blob of red on it is it male or female and if you dont no how can you tell

hello my betta is always at the top of the tank swiming around and not at the bottom where all the rocks and fake plants are why is this?

I do 20%. I use conditioner before water goes in, check temp, ph, water quality. I slowy put the new water in, vaccum the gravel. I'm doing it textbook and always have 1 fish die a couple of days after the water change. What on Earth am I doing wrong here? I haven't changed it in 3 weeks because I'm scared I'll kill another fish. I'm pretty sure the water quality isn't bad because wouldn't all or most of my fish die then? I'm talking one fish ! I have an Angel, 5 tetras, 2 platys (had more), a mystery snail, and 2 rosy barbs (had more) in a 30 gallon tank.

She has her poor beta fish in like a little gold fish bowl do you think thats rezally accurate for a beta fish

I have 2 tanks... One saltwater and one freshwater.. Both my fishes in both tanks are scratching themselves on the gravel at the bottom. And yesterday, one of my shark catfish died and also one of my mollie died... Can u tell me what's going on? And what should i do to help them? Are they sick? Let me know.. Thanx...

I have a 10 gal tank with a 20 gal pump and filter and my water still clouds up 3 day and also smells bad. We're using artisian spring water from our tap. We are new to the whole fish thing and could use any help we can get. Thanks.

my mom just stared this compost thing and has thousands of red worms i no creepy so i was wondering for a treat could i wash off one of the worms cut it in half (so they can swallow it and put it in there tank will they eat it and is it healthy o ya i have a BETTA!

My betta is four years old. I took him out of mercy his kid didn't want him any more and I wanted him. I cured him of the fin rott he had. it has been about a year now and his fin hasn't grown the base of his back is still scale less. I change the water every other week and feed him every other day?

I have a 1/2 inch neon tetra and I just noticed a white bump on his side. It's large for the size of his body (looks like a human pimple). Could this be ick - I've seen ick before, and this guy is so small I really don't know for sure. Nothing wrong with my others in a 29 gallon tank, and I have a tank I could set up as a hospital tank, but not really worth it for such a tiny guy. Is it okay to put him in a bowl and let the bowl sit in the tank (to keep the same temp) as I treat him. It says to treat every other day for 3 treatments - I figured bowl for a few hours with the treatment and then put him back in the tank. That way I don't need to treat the whole tank and he will be okay. Will this work? What else could this be?

my filter broke and the old one is completley useless since the wheel was thrown away..

clown loaches are sensitive to bad water
what do i do??

my parents are being stubborn and not letting me get a new filter.

I have 6 fish various sizes 4"-6" in a 4ft by 1ft tank,a couple of them have had cotton wool growths on their eyes for the last few months ive tried the normal pet shop medication but its not working or does it take a while to heal and dissappear?can anyone recommend anything?Btw ive had the fish for about 13 years how long do they live for?
